It's being reported that Paige will have to hang up her boots due to injury. She has injured again during December 28th show. At first, the injury was accessed as a sting but after further evaluation, it's been confirmed that it's much more. Paige has now been deactivated as an in-ring performer. Last Monday she did not perform with her group members in the match. She did escort them out there but she did not participate. She also has to relinquish her spot the first ever Women's Royal Rumble.
I feel so bad for Paige. Being gone for almost a year and then only having a few months before your forced to retire again due to injury and add that she's only 25 years old! Paige is one of my favorite Female Superstars. She's great on the mic, awesome in the ring, and whether she's a heel, face, or anti-hero she's a captivating character. She was a STAUNCH contrast to the Divas like the Bella's, Eve Torres, and their predecessors. I loved that about her and Aj Lee.
I hope that Paige gets a slot in the Hall of Fame. She had the women's NXT championship, she was Divas champion several times, Paige was and still is AWESOME!
Good Luck Paige! I hope you stay with the company and finish what you started by helping to shape the new up and coming Female Superstars.
