Wrestlemania 34 is literally right around the corner and I AM HYPED BRO! HYPED!!!!! 😬
Anyway, the match card has been announced and after the absolutely GLORIOUS hype its time to predict the winners of the matches and who will kick off WWE's year with a BANG! Let's fight this out here are my predictions for Wrestlemania 34.

Wrestlemania 34 KICK-OFF Show Matches

Women's Division Battle Royal: Entire Locker Room
Winner: Sonya Deville

Well since this is the first women's battle royal I believe it will come down to Becky Lynch, Bayley, Sasha, and Sonya Deville.  My pick is Sonya Deville. She looks to be the one who is up next.

Men's Division Andre the Giant Memorial Battle Royal: Entire Locker Room
Winner: Uh...I honestly don't care.

To be honest this match isn't something I'm looking forward to. Most people believe winning this match is a curse. Mojo won it and went from being a beloved WWE superstar to a wannabe arrogant bad guy. He seems to a shell of himself. He's dry and boring. Previously it was Baron Corbin and it gave him a little boost. He became a champion, a money in the bank winner, and he's not half in the ring or on the mic. But he lost his money in the bank shot to John Cena (the first person to ever warn his opponent of using his MIB contract and then lose BTW it was to CM Punk). Anyway, there isn't a great track record for the winner. I'm starting to realize that this match is so that everyone who enters can have somewhat of a Wrestlemania moment. But truthfully does it matter who wins this match?

Men's Division Cruiserweight Championship Tournament Finals: Mustafa Ali vs Cedric Alexander
Winner: Cedric Alexander

I am so BIAS on this match. And I don't care who knows it. I love Cedric Alexander and I believe it's his time. Whether he's a face or heel I need and want him to win! So Good Luck Ced. Your my pick and I'm confident you'll win!

Wrestlemania 34 Matches

The United States Championship Fatal 4 Way: Jinder Mahal vs Rusev vs Bobby Roode vs Randy Orton (c)
Winner: Jinder Mahal

I have a strong NAGGING feeling that Jinder will once again hold the title and have yet another irrelevant title run. Jinder is just not good at being a heel. He's not believable. I don't believe the things he says his facial expressions, his mannerisms I don't believe anything about his persona. He bores me. But the WWE believes in him enough to continue to put him in positions to be a top guy or a quality mid-card wrestler. Either way, I just have a sneaking feeling that he will steal this championship and walk out of Wrestlemania US Champ. Once again we'll have to listen to his annoying diatribe. I'm from India, you don't like me because of it, I'm rich you're not, I'm better you're not, I'm the modern day Maharaja. 😒 Great...💆

Intercontinental Championship Triple Threat Match: Seth Rollins vs Finn Balor vs The Mz (c)
Winner: The Miz

I think this will be one of the best matches of the night. But I don't think the Miz will have anything to do with it. No Shade. I'm just saying. You got 2 of the greatest performers of our time in there Seth Rollins (Mr. Monday Night RAW) and Finn Balor. This is going to be epic. Now if I'm wrong (which I don't think I am), I can see Finn Balor picking up the win and holding the title for the first time. The rumor mill is that Miz is taking a hiatus to spend time with his newborn daughter. And if the rumors are true I can see Finn winning the championship. However, I'm sticking with my pick.

SDLive Tag Team Championship Triple Threat: The New Day vs The Bludgeon Bros. vs The Usos (c)
Winner: The Bludgeon Bros.

The Usos have MADE the tag team division along with The New Day for the last year. I would love to see them retain and then fight against The Bludgeon Bros one on one. But I don't see that happening anytime soon. So the Bludgeon Bros will have a title reign and the tag team division will go down on SDLive just as it went down on RAW.

RAW Tag Team Championship Match: The Bar vs Braun Strowman &?
Winner: Braun Strowman &?

The Bar have run their course on RAW. Just as the New Day did. So what better way to go out than to lose your belts at Wrestlemania to the Monster Among Men and his surprise partner. So I'm going for Braun. I think this will be a fun surprise at mania and I can't wait to see how it plays out.

Smackdown Live Women's Championship Match: Asuka vs Charlotte (c)
Winner: Asuka

This is a telling sign that WWE wants to put Asuka at the forefront of the Women's Division. For a while now Charlotte was leading and now they've shifted to Asuka. I have no doubt that Charlotte will definitely put forth an amazing effort and pull out an amazing performance. But I don't think she will win this one. All the promoting of Asuka streak they are doing and with Asuka not losing any matches it makes it difficult to foresee charlotte pulling out of this victorious. Which is unfortunate for Charlotte because she deserves better than that!

RAW Womens Championship: Alexa Bliss (c) vs Nia Jax
Winner: Nia Jax

I am 100% confident that Nia will win. If she doesn't then it's clear that the WWE isn't as committed to progression as they claim. Nia is a viable champion. She's worthy of that belt and its time for some New Blood! Alexa has run her course as the champion on both brands. I'm tired of watching her little ass prance around with that belt and not defending it and always finding some way to weasel her way out of competing. I want Nia to win. And if she doesn't then I quit watching any women's division matches on any brand of the WWE. And I mean that!

WWE Championship: Shinsuke Nakamura vs Aj Styles (c)
Winner: Shinsuke Nakamura

This will be the highlight of the evening! The WWE definitely missed the mark on this rivalry and old bad blood between these two competitors. Styles and Nakamura are two of the best performers the WWE has to offer. And despite being railroaded in their promotion and storyline I expect this match to be absolutely amazing!

WWE Universal Championship: Brock Lesnar vs Roman Reigns
Winner: Roman Reigns

I know most of you aren't fans of Roman. But you gotta be ok with Brock losing this belt. I mean he needs to be gone RIGHT NOW! So if Roman is the guy for now then so be it. I like Roman and I have no issues with him being apart of this. Brock needs to go and then we can have true competition.

Mixed Match: Ronda Rousey & Kurt Angle vs Triple H & Stephanie McMahon
Winner: Ronda Rousey & Kurt Angle

Listen I'm gonna be honest (note I know I say that a lot but I feel the need to say it lol) I don't care about this match that much. Real talk this could've been resolved on Monday Night Raw. This was not Wrestlemania worthy for me. I love Ronda I think her coming to the WWE is going to be an awesome move. However, she's extremely green. She's horrible at selling injuries, she just makes it look fake. Despite the fact that it is a choreographed sport she has got to do better at making it look real. That takes time. Time Rousey didn't get which will not work out in her favor. However, it would not be lucrative to introduce her to the WWE Universe and bring in her fanbase just to have her lose on the grandest stage of them all. To me, that's just not good business. Now if we're just looking at face value, Triple H doesn't have a good track record at Wrestlemania lately. He's lost his last 2 matches at Wrestlemania. So my vote is going to Rousey.

Tag Team Match: Shane McMahon & Daniel Bryan vs Kevin Owens & Sami Zayn
Winner: Shane McMahon & Daniel Bryan

This one is probably the most emotional match of the night. Daniel Bryan has not been able to wrestle in 2 years. His first match back isn't going to be an easy one. But I expect Daniel and Shane to fight through and win this. For the Yes Movement and of course for the in-ring return of Daniel Bryan.

Thursday, April 5, 2018

I am so sorry for my absence. Its been a rough couple of weeks. I just haven't had the time to complete any blogs. I've watched most of the shows up until now so I'm caught up and ready to recap. LEGGO!

2 Weeks Ago on Smackdown Live...

DANIEL BRYAN ANNOUNCED HE WAS FINALLY CLEARED TO WRESTLE AGAIN. HE ADDRESSED THE WWE UNIVERSE AND DECLARED HE WOULD RETURN.

The focal point of the show last week was Daniel Bryan. There were matches throughout the night. But he was definitely the highlight of the evening.

Jinder Mahal Randy Orton & Bobby Roode

Honestly, I don't remember much about this. I know one of them had a match with Jinder and he beat them. I think it was Randy who he was wrestling. I'm bored with this 3-way rivalry. Honestly, Jinder was unnecessary. Bobby Roode and Randy can hold a feud on their own. I think Jinder should've been left out of the equation. Either way, I expect him to be the next US champ.

Carmella's 2nd Attempt at Cashing In #FAIL

Once again Carmella tried to cash in on Charlotte. But she couldn't even pull it off. Ref never rang the bang for it to be an official match. She ended up being taken out a few minutes from entering the ring. Natalya capitalized on the distraction and picked up the win. I'm starting to believe all these faux cash-ins are done on purpose to distract and disorient Charlotte. Frankly, Charlotte and Natalya's match was the best match of the night. It was fun to watch. However, it was cheapened by one of the weakest female superstars in WWE to date.

Kevin Owens & Sami Zayn

After attacking the Commissioner of SDLive. They showed up to the show towards the end. They were praised for their in-ring work. And Daniel even admitted to being lax on them and living vicariously through them despite their attitudes and despicable actions. But he could not ignore their more recent actions against Shane McMahon. After they received a match at WrestleMania and Shane decided to leave they still attacked him.

Daniel (and so was I) was confused about their actions. Despite Shane focusing on them ultimately they got what they wanted. A chance to perform on the grandest stage of them all and no more "Mr. McMahon". But my guess is that was enough. Because of their reprehensible actions, Daniel had no choice but to fire the duo. Well, this did not go over well with Zayn and Owens. Their livelihood had just been stripped from them in front of the whole world. Well, both men went ballistic. Savagely attacking Daniel Bryan.

He fought back and got the drop on them. But ultimately the numbers game was too much for him. Assault ended with a pop-up powerbomb on the edge of the apron.

Last Week on Smackdown Live...

I have to be honest here. Smackdown Live was boring this week. And it really had nothing to do with Kevin and Sami. You went from the bombshell news of Daniel Bryan returning to action to a match announcement and thats it?! REALLY? Had you given Nakamura and Styles a TRUE FUCKING STORYLINE MAYBE THE SHOW WOULDN'T HAVE BEEN SO DAMN BLAND! It was just blah. It was boring. Even Daniel Bryan issuing his challenge to Sami and Kevin was just eh. Saw that ish coming. It was just...not worth watching.

Bobby Roode vs Rusev
Winner: Rusev
As a result of his win over Roode, he was added to the Match for the United States Championship

Becky Lynch vs Ruby Riott
WINNER: BECKY LYNCH

Bludgeon Bros vs New Day
WINNER: DQ THE USOS INTERFERED

Dolph Ziggler vs Tyler Breeze
WINNER: DOLPH ZIGGLER

Shinsuke Nakamura vs Shelton Benjamin
WINNER: NAKAMURA

The GM Issues a Challenge to KO & Zayn

Daniel Bryan came out and made it clear was not feeling the General Manager role. He's not a company guy in that sense. He is just itching to get back in the ring. So after the events of last week. Daniel gave Shane his just due. Saying he was right about Sami and Kevin all along (Uh yah you were too busying living out your dreams through them to see it). He made it clear that he wanted revenge and he issued a challenge to the howling Barney Rubble and the skipping Kazoo. Shane McMahon and Daniel Bryan will team up against Zayn and Owens. If Owens and Zayn win they'll get their jobs back. If they lose they will remain fired.

The only way I see this working with Kevin and Zayn staying fired is if they get hired on RAW and start working the RAW shows. I hate that they are still using them as a catalyst to play up drama. Sami could be on to bigger and better things. And Kevin could be having a real rivalry with Daniel or anyone else right now. But no they stuck with the defiant I can do what I want employee angle.

Charlotte was Out

Many outlets including the WWE reported Charlotte was out due to a dental issue. There are other rumors but it doesn't matter. The dragged on without her, unfortunately.

Rusev was added to the United States Championship Match

I'm actually ok with this. I like Rusev. Face or Heel he seems to be a cool dude. He plays his role well and you gotta respect that. I would've preferred if Jinder would go take a back seat and let Rusev get the shine for a while. He deserves it. Jinder has had his run as the "face" I guess you can say. And it was lackluster, to say the least. Jinder just isn't good on the mic and he's boring. Rusev has the momentum number one selling merchandise for the last couple of months. He's just a better villain than Jinder. Jinder tries to sell it and be menacing but he doesn't pull it off well. Rusev is great at that.

The Miz threw Shade Last Week as Twitter Erupted over Daniel's Announcement Last Week

Now if you ask me THATS THE DAMN MATCH THAT NEEDS TO BE BOOKED! I WANT TO SEE THE MIZ VS DANIEL BRYAN. DANIEL BRYAN DESERVES TO GET THE MIZ IN HIS CLUTCHES. After everything, he did to Daniel as GM of Smackdown Live (stealing his signature moves, calling him a coward, saying he was glad he wasn't wrestling again). After all that taunting and disrespect he finally can exact his revenge and I would start by costing him the Intercontinental Championship at Wrestlemania. But that's just me.

WWE Fastlane (2018) Match Card

Men's Division: Rusev vs. Shinsuke NakamuraWinner: Shinsuke Nakamura

This match was actually fairly decent. I liked it a lot. Nakamura and Rusev put on a good show. I have to say it was a good opener.

Men's Division: Bobby Roode vs. Randy Orton (United States Championship)
Winner: Randy Orton - New Champion

This match was good. Fast-paced, a lot of energy Roode and Orton are evenly matched. Even in its slow moments, the match was still entertaining. Jinder came out after the match was over and attacked Orton. But Roode came to his rescue, then shortly after hitting Randy with a Glorious DDT.

Women's Division: Becky Lynch and Naomi vs. Natalya and Carmella
Winner: Natalya & Carmella

Decent match as well...was incredible and it wasn't boring. It was decent. Carmella and Natalya ended up trying to cheat ended up getting a distraction instead and picking up the win.

Men's Division: The Usos vs. The New Day (SmackDown Live Tag Team Championships)
Winner: DISQUALIFICATION THE BLUDGEON BROS TOOK OUT EVERYONE

This match started out AWESOME! The Usos were dominating and the New Day was trying to fight back. But in the middle, the Bludgeon Bros came out to cause chaos. Absolute CHAOS. THEY DECIMATED THE EVERYONE IN THE MATCH! IT WAS A MASSACRE. WRESTLEMANIA IS GOING TO BE A TRIPLE THREAT MATCH FOR THE WWE TAG TEAM TITLES.

Women's Division: Charlotte Flair vs. Ruby Riott (SmackDown Live Women's Championship)
Winner: Charlotte Flair

Ruby dominated for most of the match. But Charlotte was able to hold her off. Riott squad tried to interfere but were thwarted by Becky and Naomi. The match continued and was pretty good. Both of the bystanders were kicked out and removed from the match. Allowing Charlotte to spear and hit the bridged figure 4 leg lock. Charlotte picks up the win. THEN OUT OF NOWHERE ASUKA ENTERS AND MAKES IT KNOWN CHARLOTTE IS HER OPPONENT FOR WRESTLEMANIA! IT WAS ABSOLUTELY INSANE

Men's Division: AJ Styles vs. John Cena vs. Kevin Owens vs. Sami Zayn vs. Baron Corbin vs. Dolph Ziggler (WWE Championship)
Winner: AJ STYLES

This match was awesome. It started with John getting rid of everyone with an AA leaving just he and Aj Styles in the ring to truly start the match. It went on a for a minute then everyone jumped John leaving him on the outside. From then on it was attempted pinfalls and chaos outside the ring. Ziggler and Corbin ended up going through one of the barricades in the stands leaving them out of the match for a while. John got back in it and took out Aj Styles by AA through a table. Aj did not return until the end of the match. Sami Zayn pretended to lay down in the ring for Kevin but tried a roll-up and they ended up fighting in the end. Fighting so bad that when Kevin tried to kick Sami in the face he ended up kicking Shane McMahon in the face instead. Big mistake. Because Shane retaliated by screwing them both over for a possible win before the match was over. Just to be clear Kevin and Sami both had near falls before that and Shane did not interfere. He only interfered after he got kicked in the face. But I'm sure the GM won't be pleased and will address this on Tuesday's episode of SDLive.

Now everybody was getting back up by then it was finisher after finisher after finisher until Aj Styles hit Kevin Owens with the Phenomenal Forearm. To secure the bag! Aj Styles retains. Kevin and Sami are crushed. Ziggler and Corbin are out. And John Cena for the 1st time in 14 years will have no place in WrestleMania. He could be in the Andre the Giant Battle Royale. I mean that's his only option unless Taker comes back. Which I doubt.

Overall

I thought this was a solid pay per view. It was entertaining and well worth the WWE subscription. I'm curious as to how this will all play out on Tuesday. Asuka leaving RAW to challenge Charlotte. Now, who's going to challenge Alexa Bliss? She has no takers? Nia Jax this would be a perfect chance at redemption. But I digress... I wonder if John will make an appearance on Monday's RAW and what he will say. Hmm this could be shaping up to be an interesting week.

*Side Note: I apologize for missing the past month or so with SDLive I just haven't had the energy nor the strength to watch it. However, I am going to start back up with my weekly roundups for each show and occasional WWE news! Thanks for Rocking with Me and Until Next Time...

via GIPHY

Well, its time for predictions! Here are my predictions for Fastlane. I know I haven't been reporting on SDLive in a while...I got behind and couldn't get caught up but I promise I will be more consistent from now on.

FASTLANE KICKOFF SHOW

Men's Division: 6 Man Tag Team Ty Dillinger & Breezango vs Mojo Rawley & Chad Gable/Shelton Benjamin
Winner: Who Cares?

I honestly have no energy to assess this. Now...I enjoy Ty and Mojo. Both of them are awesome. But there's no dog in this fight.

FASTLANE MATCH CARD

Men's Division: Rusev vs. Shinsuke Nakamura
Winner: I don't care

Um...Shinsuke Nakamura? Is it really important who wins this match? I mean Rusev has been getting a huge pop as of late but they are not utilizing it. Barely putting him on the card with a worthless match against Shinsuke.

Women's Division: Becky Lynch and Naomi vs. Natalya and Carmella
Winner: Becky Lynch & Naomi

I think Carmella losing could be the catalyst to her cashing in on the winner of the Women's Championship. On a side note, I really don't care so...yea moving on.

Men's Division: Bobby Roode vs. Rand Orton (United States Championship)
Winner: Randy Orton

As much I love Bobby Roode (Villain or Hero I don't care I freaking love him), I don't think he will retain. This is the only belt Randy has yet to hold and I don't think they will deprive him of holding it any longer. So I'm gonna give the W to Randy probably by way of Cinder Fella Jinder. LMAO

Tag Team Divison: The Usos vs. The New Day (SmackDown Live Tag Team Championships)
Winner: I honestly don't know...I'm torn

Listen I like both of these tag teams but I don't think that The Usos will retain. The Usos deserve to go to Wrestlemania over the New Day. However, they need to have a reason to go. And losing the championship is the perfect reason to go. So as much as I ride for the Usos and desperately want them to continue on as champions I believe the New Day will get their 5th title and then lose it at WrestleMania.

But on the real. I'm gonna say this and yall can judge me all you want. The Usos are one of the best the WWE has to offer in the Tag Team Division. Every team that wrestles them is elevated. No shade to the New Day but let's be real: The Usos make them look good. Point Blank Period!

Women's Division: Charlotte Flair vs. Ruby Riott (SmackDown Live Women's Championship)
Winner: Charlotte Flair

This COULD BE A VERY REAL REALITY!
I don't see Ruby Riott beating Charlotte. I think she's going to put up a good fight but ultimately she will lose. Charlotte should headline Wrestlemania. With a proper rivalry of singles competition. It's time for some real ish to occur in the women's division. I'm sick of the pack mentality. I didn't care for it with The Shield and I don't care for it with the Riott Squad. Ruby said this past Tuesday that she formed the Riott squad solely because of Charlotte. So if you're as dominant as you say then you don't need minions. Yea...Ruby just isn't top contender for me right now. However, with Carmella in looming the background, she could win it and then lose it because of Carmella. Who knows but I'm leaning more towards the idea of Charlotte actually beating Ruby.

AJ Styles vs. John Cena vs. Kevin Owens vs. Sami Zayn vs. Baron Corbin vs. Dolph Ziggler (WWE Championship)
Winner: AJ Styles

He Could Return Just for Cena!
AJ Styles and Shinsuke's match is set in stone. So no matter the obstacle 1 opponent or 5 I don't think this will be changed. It will be touch and go but Aj Styles will retain. And just so you know there will be something that happens in this match that will cause a proper rivalry to form. Whether it be Sami Zayn vs Kevin Owens (which I'm dying to see and have Sami go over this time. It's Sami's time he is overlooked and I want to see him push through). Or The Undertaker answering John Cena's challenge from 2 weeks ago. Who Knows?! All I know is that when the bell rings and the smoke clears Aj Styles will be champion. End of story.

So those are my predictions. Do you disagree? Do you agree? Let's fight it out.

Sunday, January 21, 2018

This blog will be the official match blog for the Mixed Match Challenge. So I don't have to create 50 blogs for every single match since the matches are being released weekly! Now here is the bracket once again for the mixed match challenge.

Match 1/Week 1: Boss Club vs The King of Strong Style & The Queen of Harts
Winner: Boss Club

I watched on Facebook Live just like the other fans and it was AWESOME! That chat section was bananas! Anywho the match was great! I liked how it played out. It was fast when it needed to be and slowed down still kept the intensity. It was a good match. Natalya and Sasha were amazing and so were Finn and Shinsuke. I mean come on its Finn and Shinsuke that's wrestling gold right there. You'll see toward the end that Nakamura kind of left Natti to the wolves. Sasha was going for the cross body originally but ended up getting caught LITERALLY by Shinsuke. Then she went for the double knees on Nakamura but ended up giving the cross body to Natalya. LMAO, it was great. I have to say these matches are more interesting than the actual RAW and SDLive matches. IF they all are this fun and cool to watch I'm gonna be a happy camper.

Ultimately Sasha and Finn were able to pick up the win. It was no easy win it was hard fought for both sets of competitors.

Now Natalya tried to accuse Sasha and Finn of cheating but no boo you lost move on!

Here's the full match in case you aren't subscribed to the Mixed Match Challenge page on Facebook!

Match 2/Week 2: Carmella & Big E vs The Miz & Asuka
Winner: Asuka & The Miz

Yeah uh... this match is gonna be interesting, to say the least. Especially if ALL of New Day comes out there with Big E and Carmella.

Unfortunately for me I could not watch this match all the through. But what I hear it was pretty decent. Personally I wouldn't have put Asuka in this tournament so it can be a little bit of a surprise as to who won. But I fear that because Asuka has this undefeated streak going it will continue on in this tournament too.

Asuka and the Miz defeat Big E and Carmella.

Next week is Becky Lynch & Sami Zayn vs Braun Strowman & Alexa Bliss

Match 3/Week 3: Becky Lynch & Sami Zayn vs Braun Strowman & Alexa Bliss
Winner: I expect Alexa and Braun to win just humor me.

Monday, January 15, 2018

Well, SmackDown Live is coming back on Tuesday @ 8pm on USA Network. Let's recap of last week's show shall we? Don't say I never did anything for ya! LMAO LEGGO.

SDLive kicked off with Renee Young and Aj Styles conducting an interview about last week's bombshell announcement. Concerning the WWE Championship and Aj Styles having to defend it in a handicap match.

Aj tried to avoid the question but Renee continued to press. He refused to play the game or Renee's questioning. Aj made it clear he didn't know what the hell was going on. And no he didn't think it was fair to have to defend his title in a handicap match. But that's life. It isn't fair and you just have to roll with it. He did like one aspect of the match. The fact that he gets to beat down both Sami and Kevin in one night and the fact that he gets to show everyone why SmackDown Live is the house that A.J. Styles Built (well that's a little overzealous. we all know had it not been for the Rock there would be no SmackDown Live! #FACTS sorry I had to say that it was necessary LMAO).

Of course, the puppet master and his puppet couldn't let that slide! KO and dancing Sami came out to mock the champ. Letting him know that his days are numbered. Then Shane McMahon came out.  Shane McMahon voiced his opinion on the matter. He said while he questioned the GM's decision he fully supported and backed the match and it will go on as scheduled. As for the main event, it will be a handicap match Aj Styles, Shinsuke Nakamura, & Randy Orton vs Kevin Owens & Sami Zayn in a 3 on 2 handicap match. Giving them a taste of their own medicine.

Matches

Becky Lynch (Naomi and Charlotte Flair ) vs Ruby Riott (Riott Squad)
Winner: Becky Lynch via Submission

This match was ok. It wasn't great and it wasn't bad either. It was great to Lynch back in the ring. She looked good and kept up the pace with the Ruby. Ultimately Becky was able to pick up a win with the DisArm Her in her first match back in the WWE since (filming the Marine) her "injury".

The Ascension vs The Bludgeon Bros
Winner: The Bludgeon Bros

I'm gonna be honest I usually turn the channel or put it on mute when Ascension comes out. There's just no reason to watch them if they aren't being the dominant force they should be. However this time I didn't have to. Clearly, it sucks to be you Ascension. They tried and failed. Miserably. The Ascension tried to go at this from an offense perspective and it did nothing but agitate the Bludgeon Bros.  It was short sweet and embarrassing for Ascension. Their match lasted about 1-3 minutes tops! It was sad.

Zack Ryder vs. Mojo Rawley United States Championship Round 1
Winner: Mojo Rawley Advances

Mojo Rawley gotta fire in him that I love. Heel or not I like Mojo. I wish he would switch it up now that he's a heel. Darker clothes strong entrance music that announces his dominating presence. It clashes with his current character. He needs to represent what he's presenting. Right now you got two images going at the same time. Bright and colorful hype music and strong intense out for me attitude. The two don't mix. Other than that he dominated the match. Zack put up a good fight but he just couldn't recover from the onslaught Mojo released. Mojo advances in the US Championship tournament.

Breezango vs Rusev Day
Winner: Breezango

Genuinely surprised by the cheers Rusev is getting lately. Real Talk I'm not mad about it. I'm gonna be honest once again. When Breezango comes on the screen to wrestle or for the fashion files I just mute the tv (yea I know roll your eyes I don't care I don't like it and I don't find it funny so I don't watch. 😋). They bore me. In this match, I did the same thing I ain't even gone front. But I did manage to see Fandango pick up the win for his team. Bit of an upset with the way Rusev Day has been rolling lately.

Aj Styles, Randy Orton and Shinsuke Nakamura & Kevin Owens and Sami Zayn
Winner: Aj Styles, Randy Orton & Shinsuke Nakamura (After 2 Match Changes)
Stipulation: No DQ, No Countout

This match was so satisfying. Sigh, I loved it. They had a few back and forths but when the match swung back in Styles' team's favor, Kevin and Sami decided it was time to bounce. When the match looked like it was going to end in a count out Shane came out and changed the match to a no count out. The match continued and to end the match again Kevin and Sami decided to use chairs. Match ends on a DQ with Sami and Kevin laying waste to everyone. Shane comes out again and says its no DQ restart the match. That led to an attack from Aj Styles on Kevin Owens. Leaving Sami Zayn for the 2nd time I might add at the mercy of Randy and Shinsuke. Randy slams Sami on the announcer's table. Then throws him into the ring to only be met by Nakamura with a Kinshasa. Sami then got hit with an RKO. Randy, Shinsuke, and an absent Aj Styles pick up the win.

As satisfying as this match was Sami took the brunt of the punishment. This happens often. The last time Kevin and Sami's match broke down Kevin literally left Sami alone in the ring. He was beaten down and Kevin never returned to aid his so-called "best friend" aka "guardian angel".

In Other News

Aj Styles Having to Defend his Title in a Handicap Match

via GIPHY

This would've made so much since last year around this time. Around this time last year, Aj was a heel. Cheating and slithering his way out of MOST of his matches. Now setting this type of match for a guy like that would've been plausible. But now it just seems like excessive overkill. Realistically I can't see this match being entertaining.

Shelton Benjamin & Chad Gable Complain About Their Title "Loss"

via GIPHY
Shelton & Chad you two are corny buffoons. I don't understand your logic. Chad last week you pinned Jey. However, NEITHER OF YOU WERE THE LEGAL MEN IN THE RING. Which means both you and Shelton forgot who was legal and committed a BONEHEADED mistake. If the right guy got the pin then this long ass boring ass rant you two decided to put on wouldn't have happened. They bitched for so long that Daniel Bryan came out to address their grievances. Talking too much was your biggest downfall. And you know Daniel is trigger happy to pull some bullshit because of his issues with Shane McMahon. So Gable opens his big mouth and says what do we have to do beat the Usos twice in one night? Daniel Bryan loves the idea and gives them another shot at the titles. By having them face the Usos in a 2 out of 3 fall match at the Royal Rumble.

Ok, so you know how this is gonna go right. The Usos will get a win, Chad and Gable will get a win. Then it will come down to the final bout. Which it will probably be Chad & Gable getting the championships.

Daniel Bryan and his Explanation of His Match Choices

via GIPHY

This was some bullshit plain and simple. Daniel Bryan basically explained nothing. It seems like he's acting like this on purpose. To show Shane how he's acting. But its turning into a one-up match and superstars are being caught up in the crossfire. Although it appears like he isn't doing it to be malicious to the superstars directly they are getting caught in the crossfire.

He then continues to insult Shane's family and their decision making its wrong. On all levels. I'm not saying Shane McMahon makes the best decisions. But consistently referring to a man's family as the basis of his logic and talking down about it while consistently making decisions that benefit people who don't respect you or the Commissioner. Then providing no explanation for your actions other than to deflect is as I said before some bullshit.

In the same breath, he's making himself look like he is abdicating for Kevin Owens and Sami Zayn's antics. Which he vehemently denies then grants matches for them in their favor. It's a vicious cycle and I for one wish it would move on. Rumor has it Daniel wants to wrestle again but WWE doctors won't let him. His contract is up and he's walking if they don't allow him to wrestle soon. If Daniel Bryan plans on leaving then be my guest. If not then move on and find another way to be compelling.

Jinder Mahal Addresses his Opponent Xavier Woods in the United States Championship Tournament

via GIPHY

Yall know how I feel about Jinder Mahal aka Sol Glo and the Gloettes so I won't talk about him and my feelings on him.

But I don't believe Xavier Woods will win unless they plan on turning Bobby Roode. Which I doubt. Jinder will beat Xavier and go on to wrestle at the Royal Rumble. Then Bobby will beat Jinder. Which will lead to a match between Corbin and Roode at Fastlane or Wrestlemania.

Overall

It was an entertaining show. The Usos carry SDLive right now. Their matches are always entertaining and fun to watch. The tag team division is on fire because of them and New Day but I fear once Gable & Benjamin gain those belts there will be a severe slow down in the quality of matches and the entertainment.

Daniel Bryan and Shane McMahon need to get it together. How many times can you argue about the same thing and not say anything at all? I mean they argue on this passive-aggressive level that is borderline I'm a punch you in the effing face if you say something else to me. But then you smile and just leave it alone. They need to just fight it out now while they have the chance. Especially if Daniel is cleared to wrestle soon.

Corbin was missing in action this week as was the rest of the women's division. As I said about the women on Raw if this Royal Rumble is monumental then you need to start pushing the women to the forefront. Make them a priority.

This was a decent show with a satisfying end. I was ok with the overall flow and the end of the show. I just wish the storylines had more substance and answered the questions that fans are dying to know or at least me:

1 - What the hell is Daniel Bryan doing? Are you for or against the land of opportunity? And why are you constantly insulting Shane's family?

2 - Why is Shane so hell-bent on making Kevin's life miserable? Why can't he just let this go? In the end, what do you gain besides a few seconds of satisfaction?

3 - Sami Zayn what the hell was you thinking? Did you not see what happened to the last guy who was Kevin's best friend? Why are you content with being Kevin's dancing flunky rather than being a star of your own?

Sigh, I've come to realize that these questions of mine will never be answered. So...

Until Next Time Folks...

I was thoroughly entertained by SmackDown Live today! I am so excited typing this you have no idea! So let's get into it!

Aj Styles kicked off the show tonight with one question: Is Kevin Owens going to be allowed at ringside for his match with Sami Zayn? Daniel Bryan came out and so did Shane McMahon. Shane did come and apologize to Aj Styles for interfering and costing him his match last week. It's clear the Commissioner and GM are not on the same page. It turned into a pissing match between them. And instead of coming to a resolution they decided to ALL be present during Aj Styles match with Sami Zayn. Brilliant idea, nothing can go wrong with that.

via GIPHY

Before I can continue I have to tell I thoroughly enjoyed SDLive it was entertaining and all the matches were solid! I was surprised and happy at the same time.

MATCHES

First Match of the Night: The Usos vs Gable & Benjamin
Winner: The Usos after a Restart

This was my FAVORITE MATCH of the night! I absolutely loved it! First off I love The Usos. Whether heel, hero, or anti-hero they put on an amazing show no matter what. They are one of the best performers in the WWE HANDS DOWN!

Now having said that this match was captivating from start to finish. Chad & Shelton were also impressive and are viable contenders for the championships. The match was short and quick in the beginning. Not something I expected from the Usos. They had me screaming at the tv, damn near scared my husband to death! LMAO. Toward the end, there was a double tag. At the time Jimmy and Chad were the legal men in the ring. Once the double tag was hit it was acknowledged that Shelton and Jey were the LEGAL men in the match. Which made it odd to watch Jimmy get pinned by Chad Gable when neither of them was legal. The ref counted 1, 2, 3 and gave the challengers the belts. Watching them walk away on a bullshit technicality like that pissed me off. But another ref came down and told the ref that his ruling was wrong. After consideration and 3 instant replays, it was confirmed that the ref made a mistake and he restarted the match.

Jimmy and Jey fought hard and held on their titles in the end! I loved it. It had controversy, fast-paced action, it was just an AWESOME AWESOME MATCH!

The Bludgeon Bros vs Breezango
Winner: Match Never Began

I was not looking forward to this match at all. It never even began. Breezango got attacked by Harper and Rowan before the ref could start the match. The Ascension came down to help but didn't get any further than the apron. They were quickly disposed of. Though the match was unnecessary and definitely not needed it did not take away from the overall show. It just was...sigh let's move on.

via GIPHY

I feel like the Ascension is about to disappear from the roster. They will go on to another indy brand like ROH, NJPW, or Impact and dominate. I think they're a viable tag team that deserves a proper shot in the division. Given the fact that from what I hear they had a strong run as the NXT tag champs (I've never watched NXT) they were not given a fair shake on the main roster. Hopefully, soon things will change for them if not, hey ROH or NJPW or Impact here's another viable pickup that WWE is wasting.

The United States Championship Tournament: Aiden English vs Xavier Woods
Winner: Xavier Woods Advances

Xavier went after Aiden last week with this hilarious campaign video about his days in NXT and how he and his old partner captured the NXT tag team championships.

Well, today the New Day was celebrating the New Year with Xavier giving him a 2018 pancake celebration. But it was foiled by Rusev and Aiden.

Taking it to the ring. I actually enjoyed this match too. It went back and forth and was touch and go for both men as they tried to capture a win to get one step closer to the United States Championship Belt.
And as much as Aiden English irritates me he's a good wrestler and can perform effectively when in the ring with the right wrestler. Xavier put on a decent show as well. When a challenge is presented I realize that Xavier will rise to the occasion. He's more than just a goofball mouthpiece. He is a great competitor and its a joy to watch him. Xavier picked up the win.

Riott Squad vs The Welcome Committee
Winner: Riott Squad

This match was heels vs heels (both heels I don't care for) so I wasn't invested in who won or who lost. It was still a good match though. Both teams worked together well in the ring and put on a decent match. But ultimately it was Little Liv's interference in the match knocking Tamina off the top rope that got the Riott Squad a big W!

Liv Morgan is boring to me she reminds of Alexa Bliss but less in-ring skills, less athleticism, and no mic skills. Sarah Logan reminds me of that big girl on the playground who was shy but everybody thought she was mean. She just isn't giving me anything but I'm a good ole country girl and I'm trying to be mean and strong. I like Ruby Riott but I want to see what she's capable of on her own.

Becky Lynch returned to exact her revenge after her "injury" hiatus along with Naomi and Charlotte. That was satisfying AF! I LOVED EVERY MINUTE OF IT!

Main Event: Aj Styles vs Sami Zayn
Winner: Sami Zayn

After everyone got around the ring: Kevin, Shane, and Daniel. The match began. It was fine in the beginning. Aj Styles attacked Sami Zayn with a vengeance. It was interesting and slightly satisfying until the end. Aj Styles was able to get Sami in the calf crusher. He broke free and tried to recover. They got to a point where they were trading punches back and forth. Sami got hit with a Pele Kick and to keep from getting hit the ref dove out of the ring. Kevin thinking the ref injured himself kept the ref out of the ring by "checking on him". Seemingly blocking him from getting inside the ring. During that time just like last week Sami Zayn was pinned 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 76! Lol, he was pinned dammit! Of course, Shane got involved and pushed Kevin. Shane told the ref to boot Kevin from ringside. But since Shane got involved Daniel told Shane he needed to leave too ON THE MICROPHONE! This little distraction gave Zayn leverage which lead to a helluva kick and the win.

Aj Styles was livid! And rightfully so this match was good until all the fuckery! It was just an absolute mess!

Aj grabbed the mic and told both the GM and Commissioner to stop acting like kids. He said he came out there to put on a good show for the people not be a pawn in everyone's game. He sarcastically said I might as well take on Sami Zayn and Kevin Owens in a handicap match. I'm thinking ok next week he'll be in a handicap match against both men, cool. Right? Well, bruh if you thought that like I did then you would be wrong just like me. Daniel gets on the mic and goes: "What a great idea! At the Royal Rumble, it will Sami Zayn vs Kevin Owens vs Aj Styles in a handicap match for the WWE Championship!"

IF THE LOOK ON YOUR FACE WAS SOMETHING LIKE THIS GIF:

via GIPHY

Then you and I were on the same page. The crowd was happy and cheering because well its Daniel Bryan making the announcement. He can say lick my balls and they'll cheer. But I, Shane, and Aj Styles were puzzled and the only thing I could come up with to say in response to this trash was THIS IS SOME BULLSHIT!

In Other News

Mojo Rawley vs Zack Ryder didn't happen tonight for some dumb ass reason. I would've rather seen that match then the effing Bludgeon Bros ridiculous schtick with the Tango Boys and their laughing stock sidekick Descension.

Anyway, Mojo had a little message for Zack. He said he was going to finish what he started, bypass Ryder and go on to win the United States Championship. Then he mocked him. #Woowoowoo #YouKnowIt

Overall

Listen I LOVED Smackdown Live! The first match with The Usos and Gable & Benjamin was pure wrestling gold. But then again pretty much anything the Usos are in is going to be worth watching. But this ending to the show was some bullshit!

A handicap match, REALLY? A triple threat I can kind of get with but handicap? Daniel Bryan, I don't know what kind of game is going on here but I don't see this working out in anyone's favor. Mark my words: Kevin Owens will be champion but not in a deserving way. I want Sami Zayn to hold a title without Kevin Owens. And I want Sami Zayn to build himself up without Kevin Owens. If you're going to push Kevin Owens then let him have a major title run without a "buddy".

Moving on to Shane and Daniel. I'm tired of this sneak diss bullshit. I'm sick of it. Say what you mean and mean what you say. Stephanie may have ruled with fear and tactics but you know exactly what she means when she speaks. Daniel and Shane have a way of speaking to each other that is so passive aggressive. It's annoying, just be real! Say you don't like the decision and be done with it. And as a commissioner, if you don't like it override that shit!

And I can tell you this: If it didn't look like collusion before it damn sure looks like it now! Putting these two goons in a match for a potential championship LOOKS BAD. And add the fact that's it's a handicap match and well it just looks bad. And I wouldn't be surprised if it comes back to bite Daniel in the ass. So go head WWE Universe YES IT UP YEP IT UP! Cause this YES YEP train is starting to fly off the rails. Look for the BS! If the Commissioner doesn't cause no more trouble and become the ultimate heel. Then trust Daniel Bryan has already gotten there and will show his true colors. BELIEVE ME.

Well, Folks, I had a good time writing this one. Until next time...

Tuesday, January 2, 2018

I apologize for being late with for this post. I was sick with the flu at the time of this show and I was unable to write my blog because of it. Listen the flu is no joke. I'm still not fully recovered but I really want my blog to function so I'm working on posting regularly whenever a show comes out. Thank you for your patience, thank you for reading, and I hope you're entertained!

SD Live kicked off with our loving GM Daniel Byran. He spoke on Dolph Ziggler's title abandonment and what it meant for the United States Championship. He explained how he contacted The Showoff several times via text and phone but got no response. As a result of Dolph's personal actions, he has been released from Smackdown Live.

A tournament was set up to get the belt a new owner. The first match of the tournament would be former champion Baron Corbin vs Bobby Roode.

This I had a HUGE problem with. Don't get me wrong I love the idea of a tournament. It's more practical than just having someone beat the champion and automatically get a match. It feels more realistic. BUT! Baron Corbin should've been the first person named in the match. Yeah okay I know you're probably looking at this blog like "Bitch are you serious right now?" And my answer to you is "Yes Bitch, I am Dead Ass Serious!" Baron Corbin is the former United States Champion holder. He never got the opportunity to get his belt back in a one on one match. He is rightfully deserving of that match! No matter how you look at it that's FACTS! So to make him work for an opportunity he has already earned is some straight up BULLSHIT!

Listen I'm no fan of Baron Corbin I think even as a heel he has a lot of work to do. But fair is fair. So in this instance D. Bry you were wrong for how you handled this situation.

Moving forward (Listen this is going to be out of order because I watched this earlier this week but its been hectic so bare with me. I will try to be as in-depth as possible)

In that same opening monologue, Bryan was interrupted by Gable and Benjamin. Claiming they're glad the US Championship debacle was fixed. But what about the tag team championships. They claim after beating the Usos they were cheated out of a one on one championship match. Despite having an opportunity at Clash of Champions and being pinned they still felt they deserved a one on one match for the SDLive tag team championships. Many opposed to that idea including me, the WWE Universe, Rusev Day and New Day.

Each team came out to make their case. Daniel Bryan decided that each team had a point. So a triple threat match was made for the number one contender slot. It was the first match of the night. Don't worry matches are coming. I want to put them all in one spot so for those who don't like my heavy commentary and are only interested in matches it'll be in a specific spot just for you.

Moving On...

The Commissioner Shane McMahon addresses Daniel Bryan's comments from last week. He told Daniel that despite his personal feelings of Mr. McMahon he still deserved respect. Daniel agreed but made it clear that despite McMahon's accomplishments he still used his power to dominate and nearly destroy many wrestlers careers including his own. Then the conversation moved to the US Championship tournament. And I can I see I wasn't the only one puzzled by Bryan's decision to have a tournament for the vacant title. But I didn't agree with Shane McMahon's answer to the problem either. I think both of them had great ideas they just needed to marry them together. Have the tournament to decide the opponent of Baron Corbin. Baron gets a fair shot at the title and anyone can have a chance to be champion. It's a win-win.

Then the Commissioner addressed the issue of constantly rewarding Sami Zayn and Kevin Owens despite thumbing their noses at the respective authority including Daniel Bryan. He asked Daniel what his intentions were. He also explained that perception is reality and people are accusing Daniel of favoritism toward KO and his dancing cheerleader S. Zayn. Well, Daniel came with a plausible rebuttal. The reason Kevin Owens was put in the final match of the night was due to his history with the current champ. He wanted SDLive to end on a Banger and he figured Kevin Owens would be the prime candidate.

Just to play devils, advocate, here. Earlier in the year of 2017, Daniel Bryan was Shane McMahon. The only difference is it didn't get as personal with D. Bry as it did with Shane. Confused? I'll elaborate. The Miz is one of the biggest annoyances in the WWE (don't get me wrong I've come to love the Miz and his character. He's needed no matter how much I detest the persona. you do notice when he's not there and that says a lot). The Miz blew his top on many occasions making fun of Daniel Bryan and the reasoning behind him being shelved and having to settle for a GM position in the WWE. On many occasions, Daniel Bryan stepped in and used his power to oppress the Miz (according to the Miz). So what is the difference between Daniel and Shane? I'll tell you. Daniel can't be attacked and his parents aren't on the docket to be head-butted and a beaten on national tv. Shane has been targeted because Kevin Owens is a big ass baby and can't admit that someone beat him. So he took it out on the next person in the ring which was Shane McMahon. He came out week after week antagonizing Shane until it got the best of him. Then he decided to sue and it escalated from there. Daniel can't escalate the situation but I'm sure if he could he would with no hesitation. Now do I think Shane needs to back off? Absolutely he's playing right into their hands constantly involving himself. Let things play out. KO and dancing cheerleader will eventually play themselves.

Well, we'll see how this plays out but it doesn't look good. So let's move on...

Matches

I'm gonna try not to talk too much but I can't make ANY promises! Listen this is my only outlet for these kinds of convos except twitter and honestly I'd rather do this MY WAY ON MY TERMS IF YOU'RE NOT A FAN PLEASE EXIT LEFT...THANK YOU!

Rusev Day vs New Day vs Gable & Benjamin
Winner: Benjamin & Gable

This match surprised me. Rusev and English work well together and the crowd absolutely loves them. Similar to how the crowd revered Slater & Rhyno aka Beauty & the Man Beast #IGotKids lol. Anyway, the crowd was really into them, more so Rusev than anything. But the match was good. 3 men in the ring at a time from each team and you had to tag your partner to get in the match.

I liked the flow of the match it was pretty much high octane throughout. Always something to look at or be in awe of. It was a great match to watch and each team contributed well and they had great chemistry with each other. I was surprised that the match went so well.

Smackdown's tag team matches are always great. They have good quality tag teams which makes the tag team division one of the best aspects of SmackDown Live.

Ultimately the victor went to Gable and Benajmin. A tag team I don't really care for. I know they paired Benjamin up with Gable for particular reasons but as I have said before both these men could have been viable contenders for the United States Championship. But they are a tag team so we have to live with it. They are scheduled to compete for the SDLive Tag Team titles on this week's SmackDown Live if they don't win the titles this Tuesday, expect another match to be made at the Royal Rumble for the titles. However, I think the Usos will lose the titles this week via cheating. Either way there will be a championship match at the Royal Rumble.

Breezango vs The Bludgeon Bros
Winner:? Match Ended in a No Contest

For some odd reason, this has become a storyline worthy of tv airtime. Ugh...the match ended in a no contest. But when the BB decided to push forward with their destruction (the "best friends" of Breeze and Fandango) The Ascension stepped in to help out their fallen brethren. Only to put them in harm's way again. Due to the beating they received Breezango was unable to speak for themselves but The Ascension decided they needed to challenge BB once again.

Well isn't this interesting. I see what The Ascension is doing. For months their efforts to be apart of Breezango's little skit the Fashion Files has been rebuffed. And if this isn't a ploy to soften Breezango up and make them pay for their transgressions then I'm completely lost and don't know what to say about this.

Women's Division: Naomi vs Ruby Riott
Winner: Ruby Riott

As I have said before I don't care for this Riott Squad bullshit. Only one can win the Rumble, not a faction. The Riott Squad's strongest member is Ruby Riott. She's their biggest star and strongest competitor. Yet in this match she used her minions, Liv Morgan and Sara Logan, to pick up the win over the former women's champion. Despite winning the match the group still felt they needed to take Naomi outta commission. Well, that didn't work because the Queen Charlotte Flair came out to aid the dimming Glow Queen. But her efforts were foiled as well until...Natalya and the rest of SDLive women's roster came out. Not to aid Charlotte and Naomi but to put the Riott Squad on notice.

First Round of United States Championship Tournament: Bobby Roode vs Baron Corbin
Winner: Bobby Roode

I'm gonna be honest Baron Corbin worked Bobby Roode over in this match. He slowed this match down, forced it at his pace. Corbin looked good in this match. But as always the tide changes and this time it was in Roode's favor. Bobby Roode was able to pick up the win on a roll up. He didn't look great and he made major blunders but he was able to capitalize on the moment. Bobby Roode advances in the US Championship Tournament. I'll break down the bracket and my predictions in a moment.

First Round of United States Championship Tournament: Jinder Mahal vs Ty Dillinger
Winner: Jinder Mahal

Finally got a win outta Mahal that didn't include the two Gloettes on the outside. He finally proved he could win on his own. All it took was to lose the WWE Championship. Funny how life works? SMDH anyway. Ugh, this is gonna leave a bad taste in my mouth but I am fair when assessing what is presented to me. Jinder Mahal put on a good match with Ty Dillinger. I like Ty. I think he's really great in the ring. The Perfect 10 came up a little short in this match with Jinder. Jinder Mahal has vastly improved on his in-ring skills. Don't get me wrong I like Jinder in terms of his style, confidence and he's not a bad looking guy. But his ascension to the top was a bit sketchy for me. And he used a schtick that was old and tired to maintain his title reign. I want variety but nothing cookie cutter. Give me something worthy of watching.

Main Event: Kevin Owens vs Aj Styles

Uh...honestly I don't know what to say about this match. For the most part, the match was good. Aj and Kevin always put on great matches and together they are pay per view gold, money in the bank if you will. Ha! You like how I just did that lmao I'm so corny. SMDH anyway they really do work well with each other. But the ending well the ending was typical and such a letdown. The show itself could've been better if it ended with a clear winner and no interference.

Shane McMahon's constant interference is not working. As I said before let them be their own downfall!

Randy Orton and Shinsuke Nakamura announce their entry into the 2018 Royal Rumble.

UNITED STATES TOURNAMENT BRACKET

The tournament is shaping up. The tournament will consist of 4 matches, then 2, then 1 at the Royal Rumble for the United States Championship.

Round 1 Winners and Predictions:

Booby Roode vs Baron Corbin
Winner: Bobby Roode

Jinder Mahal vs Tye Dillinger
Winner: Jinder Mahal

Xavier Woods vs Aiden English
Prediction: Xavier Woods

Zack Ryder vs Mojo Rawley
Prediction: Mojo Rawley

Xavier Woods has been doing the most as of lately. Using his social media platform to campaign for the title. Which won't do anything besides get under Aiden Englishes Skin. Lmao its funny as hell though and will make for an interesting match tonight. Check out his campaign video from his Facebook page:

Mojo Rawley recently turned on Zack Ryder it was a few weeks ago and never addressed again. Now that the tournament has come up its about to fruition. However the WWE took a golden moment missed it. You had an opportunity to have a genuine rivalry that would've looked great had it been played out right. Instead you left it where it started and constantly shoved dancing Sami & KO vs Shane McMahon down our throats. This seemed like a viable rivalry between Ryder and Rawley. And I liked the fact that Mojo has now turned heel. We shall see how well he does.

 Show Overall

Describe the final Smackdown Live of 2017 in one word...Typical, Boring, Repetitive? Ok, so I needed to get that out because honestly, one word doesn't give me the broad spectrum of what the show is really giving. So I chose 3 instead of one.

Smackdown Live is stuck in a rut. They tried to shake up the show a little bit with Jinder and this whole Kevin Owens vs Shane McMahon BS. But they did nothing more the give a man a title run as a heel with a predictable game plan: Cheat to win, Cheat to maintain. But I'll elaborate later on Jinder.  Then they added Kevin and tagged Sami along but its dragging. I don't like this. It makes Sami look like a dancing buffoon (And KO's lackey. I know what your thinking well Chris Jericho was that way too. but despite Chris Jericho assuming the role of the best friend he wasn't a lackey. he made it his own and was able to create a character bigger than KO despite being beside him. Sami is not doing that). While Kevin gets to look like the wisecracking, cunning, whiny, bitching villain.

And to add insult to injury they drag in this whole other dynamic of having this underlying issue between Daniel and Shane but honestly, it's brought nothing but more confusion and questions than anything. Whose the heel in this situation? Whose right? Whose wrong? Why is this happening? Why can't this easily be resolved? Many questions and no answers. Going into the new year this storyline does not look promising.
