ROYAL RUMBLE KICKOFF SHOW

Kalisto, Lince Dorado & Gran Metalik vs. TJP, Jack Gallagher & Drew Gulak (Kickoff Show)

Winner: Kalisto, Lince Dorado & Gran Metalik

They could've at least waited till they got the arena filled. But none the less it was a decent match. 

Ultimately the resident Luchadores picked up the win. Kalisto was able to hit the AWESOME Selena Del Sol

Luke Gallows & Karl Anderson vs. The Revival (Kickoff Show)
Winner: The Revival

This match was classic! Two teams who are just beyond talented in their field. It started off with Gallows and Anderson dominating for the beginning of the match. The tide changed when Anderson got injured and his knee became the primary focus of The Revival. Ultimately The Revival was able to pick up the win despite Gakllows and Anderson's hard battle to win.

The United States Open Challenge: Bobby Roode vs Mojo Rawley (Kickoff Show)
Winner: Bobby Roode

Mojo came out aggressive and strong. Gave Bobby Roode a run for his money. But ultimately Bobby was able to outlast Mojo and picked up the win. Good match. Mojo looked really good as a heel. I like it. I can't wait to see how they push through with him. 

WWE Championship: Sami Zayn & Kevin Owens vs Aj Styles
Winner:

This is constantly going backforth. As lopsided as it was it was pretty good. Owens and Zayn were able to tag out on the regular. Styles looked exhausted toward the end. They were pushing through and making it very difficult for Styles. But Styles held his own. Surviving a thunderbomb and even getting Kevin in the calf crusher but only to have Sami save him. Styles got off the phenomenal forearm but Zayn was saved by Owens. Nothing but failed pinfall after failed pinfall. OMG bruh. That was AWESOME! Sami Zayn was the legal man, not Kevin Owens. So legally Aj Styles did not win this match. Unfortunately for me this isn't over and it will probably play out again at Great Ball of Fire (Smackdown Live's next stand alone pay per view). Kevin and Sami complained to Commissioner Shane McMahon. As I said...this isn't over!

SDLive Tag Team Championship: The Usos (Jimmy & Jey) vs Shelton Benjamin & Chad Gable
Winner: The Usos RETAIN!

I am freaking SHOOK RIGHT NOW. I did not expect the Usos to retain the belts. Gable and Benjamin did what they could. They were vicious and attacked the Usos head on. Grounding them immediately and taking they're greatest offense from them, the high flying/top rope skillz. It was a good match. It got slowed down because of the damage I believe Jimmy was taking. So it was slow and it grounded the match. But it picked up allowed the Usos to capture the first pinfall with a double super kick to the Gable's head. Only to move on and gain another pinfall soon after!  It was AHMAZING!

Baron Corbin took out the whole damn MATCH after his elimination! Baron Corbin is on a TEAR! Just fucking people UP! EVERYBODY IS OUT! NOBODY IS IN THE RING! THIS IS ABSOLUTELY INSANE!

THIS MATCH WAS ABSOLUTELY AMAZING AND HARD TO EXPLAIN! BE SURE TO CHECK OUT THE HIGHLIGHTS ON WWENETWORK ITS A MUST SEE! IT CAME DOWN TO ROMAN AND SHINSUKE NAKAMURA. NAKAMURA IS GOING TO WRESTLEMANIA AS THE 2018 ROYAL RUMBLE WINNER! NOW WHO WILL HE FACE AT WRESTLEMANIA IN NEW ORLEANS?!!!!

NAKAMURA HAS CHOSEN AJ STYLES AS HIS OPPONENT FOR WRESTLEMANIA. AS LONG AS AJ KEEPS THE BELT!

RAW Tag Team Championship: Jason Jordan & Seth Rollins vs The Bar (Sheamus & Cesaro)
Winner: Sheamus & Cesaro

This match was some complete and utter bullshit! Jason Jordan got pushed into a ring post and stayed out the ring the ENTIRE GOT DAMN MATCH. He basically ended up laying on the outside of the ring for the whole match. Leaving Seth to fight. He got tagged in the ring. Realized he was in the ring and then tagged himself out. He was no help to Seth. Seth battled in the Rumble and in the ring. He did more than his fair share of work tonight. Jason Jordan is a punk at this point. Absolutely ridiculous. 

WWE Universal Championship: Braun Strowman vs Kane vs Brock Lesnar
Winner: Brock Lesnar Retains

I'm gonna be honest. It was great but it led to a bullshit ending. Once again Brock Lesnar got his ASS WHOOPED and was still able to pick up the win.

Asuka wins the 1st Ever Women's Royal Rumble. DUH!

Michelle McCool and Molly Holly were two of the most dominant females in this match and they were apart of the ol school. Sasha started the match and lasted the longest out of everyone! But was ultimately defeated by the wack ass Bella Twins. In the end the match was monumental and everyone who had an opportunity to participate and did contributed to a match that will go down in the history books. It was nice to finally have the women close the show. However Asuka never chose her opponent like her counterpart Shinsuke Nakamura did. She was interrupted my surprise visitor RONDA ROUSEY. Who tweeted and said in an interview that she had no plans or deals with the WWE to be in the Rumble or a part of Wrestlemania. But I guess she lied. Because she made it very clear that she was going to Wrestlemania. attempting to shake Asuka's hand who politely slapped away her hand. She also went to shake Stephanie's hand as well. Who was also hesitant and more angry/apprehensive because she "claimed" she didn't know what she was doing there. But it was very clear that she wanted to let the world know Wrestlemania was in her near future!

With this monumental revalation the road to wrestlemania is going to be a winding road. Well thats it for me folks! I had a blast watching the Rumble and I have to say I was truly surprised by the outcome of the some of the matches. But I loved the matches.

So we shall see how this all unfolds on Monday Night. Until Next Time Folks....
