LAST WEEK ON MONDAY NIGHT RAW

Kurt Kicked off the Show with the First Aspect of the Superstar Shakeup

Kurt announced the superstar shakeup but was interrupted before he could finish. Interrupted by the first pick of the shakeup...Jinder Mahal. An underwhelming pick for the superstar shakeup but of course he came out in true villain fashion.
Making demands and bitching. He claims he wants the same treatment Brock Lesnar has received.

Angle made it clear that attitudes like this won't fly on Monday Night Raw. He then gave Mahal his first match on RAW as the US Champ. Jeff Hardy vs Jinder Mahal. Jinder ended up losing making Jeff Hardy the new US Champion. All it took was a Twist of Fate and a Swanton Bomb for Jeff to become a grand slam champion.

Sasha and Bayley almost had a Moment Until...

Started out to be a good match between the two new rivals. Sasha had the Bank Statement locked in and Bayley either would have eventually passed out or tapped. But the weak ass Riott Squad was drafted to RAW and decided to do their typical song and dance. Attack in a pack mentality and assert their pseudo dominance. They went after both Sasha and Bayley taking them out. Which announced their switch to RAW. As annoying as they were on SDLive I can just about imagine what they'll be like on RAW.

AOP has their Debut Match

For the second time, it was AOP vs Rhyno & Slater. This time there was a little bit fight in Rhyno and Slater but it still wasn't enough to defeat AOP. They are the next dominate group to look out for.

Semi-Finals of the Tag Team Eliminator: The Revival vs Woken Matt & Bray Wyatt
Stipulation: The Winner will face The Bar at the Greatest Royal Rumble for RAW Tag Team Championship

Well, The Revival put on a good match. They fought hard against Matt and Bray but ultimately team woken bested the tag team. Honestly I...just let's just say its a decent match.

Ember Moon has her RAW debut vs Mickie James

Ember Moon had her debut match on RAW in a match against Mickie James. The newly crowned RAW women's champ was there and the former champ was supposed to be there but she declined. Claiming Nia was a bully and she didn't want to risk her opportunity to face the champ again at Backlash. So she stayed in the back where she was "safe". Ember put on an amazing performance. I really like her heel or face. I like her she's just awesome and her finisher is in my top 5 hands down an awesome finisher! Ember Moon defeated Mickie James.

Natalya makes her RAW debut and Faces Mandy Rose.

Natalya defeated Mandy Rose and got attacked. And then Ronda Rousey to aid the former champ.

The Miz announced the newest addition to RAW Kevin Owens and Sami Zayn

The Miz had a segment where he was set to announce another new RAW "superstar". And it was Kevin and Sami. The GM came out oblivious to the fact that the Commissioner had signed them. And was embarrassed because the Miz and Kevin and Sami were notified but not him. But Kurt had a trick up his sleeve. The Miz had no idea that he was traded for another SDLive superstar and wouldn't know until the end of the night who they traded for. The Miz and the Miz alone was going to the RAW brand. The MizTourage Axel and Dallas are staying on RAW. It was his final match on the RAW brand. He was headed back to SDLive to set up a potential battle and I for one am here for it bish. The match was set up Ten Man Tag Team Match: Kevin Owens Sami Zayn The Miz & MizTourage vs Braun Strowman Bobby Lashley Finn Balor Seth Rollins & Bobby Roode. A match the Miz and his team ultimately lost.

Samoa Joe & Roman Reigns have another Encounter

Once again Roman had a single segment to talk. Then, Samoa Joe, This fool Samoa Joe put together a powerpoint presentation and everything! LMAO, I can't.

RAW Acquired Several Superstars in the Shakeup

Kevin Owens
Sami Zayn
Breezango (Fashion Police)
Riott Squad
Natalya
Dolph Ziggler
Drew McIntyre (NXT)
Baron Corbin
Bobby Roode
AOP (NXT)
Ember Moon (NXT)
Bobby Lashley
Ronda Rousey
No Way Jose (NXT)

Monday, April 16, 2018

Stephanie McMahon kicks off the show and the crowd is just unapologetically SAVAGE! They showed her no mercy. I did feel a little bit bad for old Pee Pee Pants but the crowd had no sympathy none whatsoever! I mean she came out there limping and her arm in a brace. But she still was bragging about how Ronda turned out a great performance because of her. She felt like because she did such job pushing her to her limit, Ronda then in turn put on an amazing show and it was all because of Pee Pee Pants McMahon.

Steph called out Ronda Rousey to congratulate her and sing her praises. Ronda came down to an amazing reception and of course, Stephanie began to praise her as the newest ass kicking prize of the WWE. She congratulated her and admitted the truth. The Billion Dollar Princess lost fair and square. And then she began the same selling pitch as before, with WWE behind her she could become the next face of the company.

Ronda's reaction was to smile and appear to be receptive to her advances. Stephanie asked to hug it out. She did and then she put her in the armbar. Lol, she took that woman's brace off and rolled her arm back. If it wasn't real it looked real. Stephanie was writhing in agony. And then just like that, the segment was over.

Matches

Women's Division: Nia Jax and Ember Moon vs Alexa Bliss and Mickie James
Winner: Nia Jax and Ember Moon

Alexa decided to take a tactic out of most beaten bullies books and turn the blame on Nia Jax. Bat-Mite claimed Nia was the biggest bully and that she always covered for her. She said that no one is Nia's friend and that her attack on Mickie James left her distraught and that's why she lost the title at WrestleMania. She demanded an apology for the vicious attack on poor Mickie. But Nia wasn't budging. She let her rant until she got fed up and straight told her to shut up. She announced that she did have a partner and her name is EMBER MOON! When that woman came out the crowd went bananas. Ember is going to be FIRE! Let's hope they don't water her down too much!

The match was good from start to finish. Both sides performed beautifully but this was about Ember. Ember came ready to put on a show. She made her presence felt!

Tag Team Eliminator Match 1: Winner Faces The Bar at GRR on April 27th
The Revival vs The Good Bros (Gallows and Anderson)
Winner: The Revival

Good match. The Revival picked up the win. One mistake by Anderson he didn't keep up with the tags so he knew who was legal and who wasn't. All in all a decent match between two of the best tag teams they have to offer on RAW right now.

Men's Division: (Former NXT) No Way Jose vs Local Talent John Skylar
Winner: No Way Jose

Well, No Way Jose has the same gimmick of his previous counterparts: Adam Rose, The Godfather, etc. It's okay. Nothing amazing but a solid gimmick. He is extremely high energy and just a ball of fun. When the bell rang though he performed beautifully. I really like his in-ring capability. The fun and games are cool but I'm really curious to see what he's capable of. But only time will tell. This gimmick didn't work well for Adam Rose it lasted for a bit and then the WWE Universe got annoyed. However, we shall see.

Women's Division: Sasha Banks vs Mandy Rose
Winner: Mandy Rose

This match started strange Absolution came out together with their "manager" Paige. Mandy Rose was set to wrestle Sasha Banks who came out alone. As you all know recently Sasha and Bayley have been on the outs. And it's clear they haven't resolved anything. But before the match could begin Bayley came out. Came on the ring apron and went in the ring for her entrance. Then appeared to be in Sasha's corner. This was a MASSIVE mistake. For weeks now Absolution has been capitalizing on the issues of these former best friends. It happened a few weeks ago, it happened last week, and this week as well. Now during the match, Mandy pushed Bayley and Bayley reacted. But instead of hitting Mandy she ended up knocking out Sasha and leaving. Sasha got beat because of Bayley's interference. The building anger and betrayal between these two is going to clash in a match tonight. Hmmm isn't the first part of the superstar shakeup tonight 😏?

Tag Team Division: AOP (Authors of Pain) vs Heath Slater & Rhyno
Winner: AOP

Clearly, Slater and Rhyno have been getting paid well to job aka losing every match they've been in lately. But they did make a valid point. They were the 1st ever SDLive tag team champions and do deserve some level of respect. Some level, lmao. But they made the challenge and got an answer in the form of AOP. A vicious tag team who was coming off the heels of an amazing match at NXT Takeover New Orleans. If you hadn't seen it you definitely need to go watch it. It's absolutely amazing!

AOP decimated Slater and Rhyno. The Authors of Pain were brought to the main roster and they did not disappoint. However, after their win over Rhyno and Slater, they dropped their manager. They literally left him by the ring and celebrated their win on their own. Essentially telling him we no longer need you and will be taking this venture on our own. They said all this without saying a word.

Tag Team Eliminator: Woken Matt & Bray Wyatt vs Titus WorldwideWinner: Woken Matt & Bray Wyatt

Um yeah, this was hilariously a decent match. The best part was when Apollo displays his athleticism. Matt applauded him and so did Bray who was the legal man at the time. They applauded the audience applauded and so did Titus Worldwide. Which allowed the distraction and a straight up ass whooping ensued. Titus Worldwide tried to defend but the Woken era has begun and it went straight through Titus worldwide. Woken Matt and Bray Wyatt advance to the finals.

Tonight it will be Woken Matt & Bray Wyatt vs The Revival to decide who will face The Bar on April 27th at the Greatest Royal Rumble Event.

Men's Division: Kevin Owens vs Sami Zayn (BEST MATCH OF THE NIGHTStipulation: Winner Gets a Contract to be a Raw SuperstarWinner: Double Count Out

For me, this was the best match of the night. As much shit as I give Kevin Owens and Sami Zayn I do love their in-ring work. It was a hard fought match and I enjoyed every minute of it. However, it ended with both men down unable to answer a 10 count. So it was ruled a double count out. Neither man would be getting a contract. But they may change with the superstar shakeup.

I think both men will get a contract on different shows. It's time to split them up and have been become big pieces of opposing brands. Sami has proven he can do it. Villain, Hero or Anti-Hero they need to be on separate show building rivalries and making these shows fun to watch.

Men's Division: Seth Rollins Finn Balor & Jeff Hardy aka Bro. Nero vs The Miz and The MizTourage
Winner: Seth Rollins Finn Balor & Jeff Hardy aka Bro. Nero

Miz was not in a good mood tonight and it showed. But Seth Finn and Jeff were and they were on point tonight. They worked well together. Similar styles similar strengths and for once it didn't clash. They played well off of each other and it showed that with the right people in the ring you can have an amazing performance. The Miz and the MizTourage put up a good fight but they were no match for Seth Finn and Jeff. Rollins team won and ended the match each performing their signature moves: Curb Stomp (my favorite of the set), Coup de Grace, and Swanton Bomb on Axel and Dallas. It was a cool way to close the show.

In OTHER News

SUPERSTAR SHAKEUP WAS ANNOUNCED A 2-DAY EVENT! TOMORROW AND TUESDAY

The question is how are they going to "shake things up"? Who's going to SDLive? Whose moving to RAW? We will find out starting on RAW and ending with SDLive!

BRAUN RELINQUISHES THE TAG TEAM TITLES

At WrestleMania 34 as I previously blogged about. Nicholas (Son of a WWE Executive. Hey I found this out on the internet. It never sleeps people are always looking lurking and searching) and Braun had to relinquish the titles because Nick could not defend them. Besides he is 10 and cannot miss school. LMAO.

Well in true Bar fashion. They show up looking for a handout. And when Kurt refuses they get all huffy of course. But he does have a plan. Since they current title holders cant defend and have relinquished the belts there is no one to challenge to regain the belts. So a tag team eliminator tournament was created. With the 4 tag teams competing to compete for a shot at the titles. The winner will be decided tonight and they will go on to face Cesaro and Sheamus aka The Bar at the GRR Event on April 27th.

THE MIZ INTERRUPTS SETH "FREAKING" ROLLINS' GRAND SLAM MOMENT

Well on the heels of WrestleMania 34 Seth Freaking Rollins has declared his return and was extremely hype. He and his shield brethren have all held every single title the men's division can hold in the WWE. They are now all in an elite class called the Grand Slam champions.

Well, Finn Balor interrupted and came out to "congratulate" the new IC Champion. But he made it clear at WM 34 he wasn't pinned the previous title holder was. And he wanted to be the first person to challenge Rollins for that belt.

Interestingly enough Miz had an issue with that. And of course, he went apeshit about the bromance between Balor and Rollins. He had to explain how his family has suffered because of his loss. How his wife and newborn daughter cried. This was the most pathetic I've ever seen Miz. Using your newborn daughter for a storyline is messed up. This led to a banter between the three men and eventually a battle that got Jeff Hardy out there to even the odds a bit. Of course, the cowards backed away. So Angle made a match for later on in the night, a 6 Man Tag Team match.

BAYLEY COSTS SASHA A MATCH

For weeks now these two have been trading blows, pissing each other off, and further drifting apart. As I explained before Bayley cost Sasha this match and now they will square off tonight. I think this will be Sasha's final match on Raw. I think she will be moved in the Superstar shakeup to give the Women's division on Smackdown some more depth.

PAIGE ANNOUNCES HER IN-RING RETIREMENT

Months ago it was reported that Paige suffered another neck injury at a dark show and she was no longer cleared to compete. But the WWE never made an official announcement and neither did Paige. They pretended for months as if Paige diminished her role in Absolution to a Manager. She gave a speech and placed a t-shirt in the ring before heading the to top of the stage to take her final bow.

Paige was essential to the women's division. One of the first NXT brought ups and helped change the game for women in this sport making it more about their skill rather than their bodies and sexuality. I loved Paige as a wrestler and I'm sad that she can no longer compete but there is life outside of the WWE and within it (commentator, Manager, General Manager 😜). She has her whole life ahead of her to explore that role.

Bobby Lashley RETURNS!

Bobby Lashley has signed back with the WWE and has been speculated to make his debut for months now. They waited until after WrestleMania 34 to pit him against Elias whom he decimated. It was light work for Lashley. I'm curious how he will fit on RAW or maybe...they'll move him to Smackdown the shakeup. Who knows where he'll end up?

Kevin Owens & Sami Zayn Show Up on RAW Begging for a Job

Well well well Barney Rubble and Dancing Sami show up on RAW begging for a spot. Of course, the GM had some fun with them. Classic line "I hear TNA is hiring". Real Talk I hear TNA is looking for new tv spots. Very soon TNA will be no more and Vince will have crushed another Wrestling organization unless they pick up Dolph Ziggler. If they do and let him be the face they could turn things around. But that is a long shot. Anyway after explaining to the 2 goons that there was room for only 1 other member. This pitted them against each and other and led to a match that was very good and interesting to watch.

Roman Reigns Speaks on His Match at WrestleMania 34 and Samoa Joe Returns to Respond

Roman made an appearance battered and bruised, sporting a huge knot on his forehead. Roman was not in the best of moods. But he did show up for work which is counterpart Lesnar did not 😒, per the usual. However as Roman began to speak about how disrespected he was once again. Learning of Lesnar's new contract and his impending match in a few weeks with the man that busted him open, only served to piss him off. He claimed he learned of all these changes just as everyone else did on the internet.

Well, his rant only lasted for a few minutes for Samoa Joe came out to the kick the man while he was down. He claimed Roman was full of nothing but empty promises and once Lesnar was through with him he was going to finish the job at BackLash.

Joe made those same empty promises several months back. And he didn't even have a legitimate gripe for his fight. He just wanted to prove he could beat Lesnar and he failed miserably. He got taken to Suplex City and then got injured in a separate match months later. He's been out ever since. So who's the liar really? If your ass can make those same claims and spew a bunch of bullshit that you believe in then why cant Roman do the same? In reality, Roman didn't make excuses for the match he explained how he is being railroaded and forced to face Lesnar again. Joe did his job though poking and prodding a seemingly broken man.

The last time Joe and Reigns met it was a good match. And honestly made for great tv. Joe is a great heel. He provides the perfect amount of wit and in-ring talent. He's a formidable foe for anybody.

OVERALL

It was an interesting show. Great call-ups for NXT and good spots for new rivalries as well as old rivalries to begin. Tonight's show is going to be interesting. I can't wait to see how this shakeup goes. I hope its awesome.

Until Next Time Folks...

Wrestlemania 34 is literally right around the corner and I AM HYPED BRO! HYPED!!!!! 😬
Anyway, the match card has been announced and after the absolutely GLORIOUS hype its time to predict the winners of the matches and who will kick off WWE's year with a BANG! Let's fight this out here are my predictions for Wrestlemania 34.

Wrestlemania 34 KICK-OFF Show Matches

Women's Division Battle Royal: Entire Locker Room
Winner: Sonya Deville

Well since this is the first women's battle royal I believe it will come down to Becky Lynch, Bayley, Sasha, and Sonya Deville.  My pick is Sonya Deville. She looks to be the one who is up next.

Men's Division Andre the Giant Memorial Battle Royal: Entire Locker Room
Winner: Uh...I honestly don't care.

To be honest this match isn't something I'm looking forward to. Most people believe winning this match is a curse. Mojo won it and went from being a beloved WWE superstar to a wannabe arrogant bad guy. He seems to a shell of himself. He's dry and boring. Previously it was Baron Corbin and it gave him a little boost. He became a champion, a money in the bank winner, and he's not half in the ring or on the mic. But he lost his money in the bank shot to John Cena (the first person to ever warn his opponent of using his MIB contract and then lose BTW it was to CM Punk). Anyway, there isn't a great track record for the winner. I'm starting to realize that this match is so that everyone who enters can have somewhat of a Wrestlemania moment. But truthfully does it matter who wins this match?

Men's Division Cruiserweight Championship Tournament Finals: Mustafa Ali vs Cedric Alexander
Winner: Cedric Alexander

I am so BIAS on this match. And I don't care who knows it. I love Cedric Alexander and I believe it's his time. Whether he's a face or heel I need and want him to win! So Good Luck Ced. Your my pick and I'm confident you'll win!

Wrestlemania 34 Matches

The United States Championship Fatal 4 Way: Jinder Mahal vs Rusev vs Bobby Roode vs Randy Orton (c)
Winner: Jinder Mahal

I have a strong NAGGING feeling that Jinder will once again hold the title and have yet another irrelevant title run. Jinder is just not good at being a heel. He's not believable. I don't believe the things he says his facial expressions, his mannerisms I don't believe anything about his persona. He bores me. But the WWE believes in him enough to continue to put him in positions to be a top guy or a quality mid-card wrestler. Either way, I just have a sneaking feeling that he will steal this championship and walk out of Wrestlemania US Champ. Once again we'll have to listen to his annoying diatribe. I'm from India, you don't like me because of it, I'm rich you're not, I'm better you're not, I'm the modern day Maharaja. 😒 Great...💆

Intercontinental Championship Triple Threat Match: Seth Rollins vs Finn Balor vs The Mz (c)
Winner: The Miz

I think this will be one of the best matches of the night. But I don't think the Miz will have anything to do with it. No Shade. I'm just saying. You got 2 of the greatest performers of our time in there Seth Rollins (Mr. Monday Night RAW) and Finn Balor. This is going to be epic. Now if I'm wrong (which I don't think I am), I can see Finn Balor picking up the win and holding the title for the first time. The rumor mill is that Miz is taking a hiatus to spend time with his newborn daughter. And if the rumors are true I can see Finn winning the championship. However, I'm sticking with my pick.

SDLive Tag Team Championship Triple Threat: The New Day vs The Bludgeon Bros. vs The Usos (c)
Winner: The Bludgeon Bros.

The Usos have MADE the tag team division along with The New Day for the last year. I would love to see them retain and then fight against The Bludgeon Bros one on one. But I don't see that happening anytime soon. So the Bludgeon Bros will have a title reign and the tag team division will go down on SDLive just as it went down on RAW.

RAW Tag Team Championship Match: The Bar vs Braun Strowman &?
Winner: Braun Strowman &?

The Bar have run their course on RAW. Just as the New Day did. So what better way to go out than to lose your belts at Wrestlemania to the Monster Among Men and his surprise partner. So I'm going for Braun. I think this will be a fun surprise at mania and I can't wait to see how it plays out.

Smackdown Live Women's Championship Match: Asuka vs Charlotte (c)
Winner: Asuka

This is a telling sign that WWE wants to put Asuka at the forefront of the Women's Division. For a while now Charlotte was leading and now they've shifted to Asuka. I have no doubt that Charlotte will definitely put forth an amazing effort and pull out an amazing performance. But I don't think she will win this one. All the promoting of Asuka streak they are doing and with Asuka not losing any matches it makes it difficult to foresee charlotte pulling out of this victorious. Which is unfortunate for Charlotte because she deserves better than that!

RAW Womens Championship: Alexa Bliss (c) vs Nia Jax
Winner: Nia Jax

I am 100% confident that Nia will win. If she doesn't then it's clear that the WWE isn't as committed to progression as they claim. Nia is a viable champion. She's worthy of that belt and its time for some New Blood! Alexa has run her course as the champion on both brands. I'm tired of watching her little ass prance around with that belt and not defending it and always finding some way to weasel her way out of competing. I want Nia to win. And if she doesn't then I quit watching any women's division matches on any brand of the WWE. And I mean that!

WWE Championship: Shinsuke Nakamura vs Aj Styles (c)
Winner: Shinsuke Nakamura

This will be the highlight of the evening! The WWE definitely missed the mark on this rivalry and old bad blood between these two competitors. Styles and Nakamura are two of the best performers the WWE has to offer. And despite being railroaded in their promotion and storyline I expect this match to be absolutely amazing!

WWE Universal Championship: Brock Lesnar vs Roman Reigns
Winner: Roman Reigns

I know most of you aren't fans of Roman. But you gotta be ok with Brock losing this belt. I mean he needs to be gone RIGHT NOW! So if Roman is the guy for now then so be it. I like Roman and I have no issues with him being apart of this. Brock needs to go and then we can have true competition.

Mixed Match: Ronda Rousey & Kurt Angle vs Triple H & Stephanie McMahon
Winner: Ronda Rousey & Kurt Angle

Listen I'm gonna be honest (note I know I say that a lot but I feel the need to say it lol) I don't care about this match that much. Real talk this could've been resolved on Monday Night Raw. This was not Wrestlemania worthy for me. I love Ronda I think her coming to the WWE is going to be an awesome move. However, she's extremely green. She's horrible at selling injuries, she just makes it look fake. Despite the fact that it is a choreographed sport she has got to do better at making it look real. That takes time. Time Rousey didn't get which will not work out in her favor. However, it would not be lucrative to introduce her to the WWE Universe and bring in her fanbase just to have her lose on the grandest stage of them all. To me, that's just not good business. Now if we're just looking at face value, Triple H doesn't have a good track record at Wrestlemania lately. He's lost his last 2 matches at Wrestlemania. So my vote is going to Rousey.

Tag Team Match: Shane McMahon & Daniel Bryan vs Kevin Owens & Sami Zayn
Winner: Shane McMahon & Daniel Bryan

This one is probably the most emotional match of the night. Daniel Bryan has not been able to wrestle in 2 years. His first match back isn't going to be an easy one. But I expect Daniel and Shane to fight through and win this. For the Yes Movement and of course for the in-ring return of Daniel Bryan.

Tuesday, April 3, 2018

I know I know its been MORE THAN A WHILE since I've posted. But I have a good reason, uh yeah I lied I really don't but I'm posting now that's all that matters right? Look I'm working on it!

2 Weeks Ago on RAW...

Raw was...eventful

Brock takes the coward approach and attacked Roman while handcuffed. Roman called out the so-called champ and was almost arrested by the "US Marshalls" however

Bayley made it known to Sasha how she felt about her "betrayal" at Elimination Chamber and how she could never forgive her. At least she alluded to it and never said it. She acted like a child about it and honestly it was sad and eye roll worthy.

Braun still going at it alone in the battle for the tag team belts. Although he seems to be going alone the tag team champs are anxious to know who his partner will be at Wrestlemania.

Titus Worldwide got another chance to job again against The Revival. Yawn...the revival bores me. They need another tag team that is on their technically but better in the persona dept to work. I thought WWE was going to allow them to rival the Good Bros, Gallows and Anderson. But alas they ended that before it can even start. Which made me sad because that was something I really wanted to see.

The Miz & MizTourage vs Finn Balor & Gallows/Anderson (aka Balor Club) was ok. The best part was the end. When all 3 men were in the ring.

Asuka continued her streak while Alexa Bliss continued to taunt and berate Nia Jax. This should culminate in a big come up for Nia as Alexa is pummeled into the mat. I am going love this! I can't wait.

Cena continues to attempt his Wrestlemania moment. At this point, I'm tired of hearing about it and I don't want to see it. Apparently, Undertaker doesn't care nor does he want to be involved with Wrestlemania anymore. So Cena's taunts, cries, and pleas are falling on deaf ears.

Bray Wyatt vs Matt Hard in the ULTIMATE DELETION match. This was by far the most bizarre, hilarious, coolest thing I've ever seen. There is no way to explain what was demonstrated, you have to go to WWE youtube page and watch it for yourself.

Last Week on RAW...

Brock Lesnar beat down a pre-injured Roman Reigns again. It was predictable and absolutely boring. Nothing else for me to say about it.

Bayley and Sasha had it out. Bayley was snippy and kiddy once again and Sasha well she had enough of her holier than thou attitude. They battled it out in the back area and it took refs to break them up. This would've been a perfect setup for a singles match at Wrestlemania. But WWE decided to keep them in the Battle Royal for women.

Nia Jax got to get her hands on Mickie James this week. After she won Alexa tried to sneak attack but ended up running away. Girl...just give her the belt on Sunday. At least you won't get yo ass whooped on the grandest stage of them all...again!

Cruiserweights got some action on the "A" Show. Uh..yea it was a solid match. With the final competitors teaming up with each other before their battle at WrestleMania.

The Miz setup Balor and Rollins for an assault. It was very transparent and typical Miz. However, Balor and Rollins played it up beautifully. Just note that the Miz will retain that belt past WrestleMania and become the longest reigning Intercontinental champion of all time.  A slot he rightfully earned.

Asuka was put up against a local no-name wrestler. She had spunk but was literally kicked down in .2 seconds. Match Over Streak Continues!

Braun went up against the other half of the tag team champs and won. I love this schtick with Strowman. No, he doesn't need a partner and I think it would be even more interesting to see how this will play out if he doesn't have a partner. He'll be first and only WWE superstar to ever hold the titles as a singles competitor. That would definitely be better than the Big Show showing up as his partner.

Rousey was offered a spot in Absolution but declined before she took out Deville and Rose by her lonesome. Interesting. I think WWE made a mistake by not putting Rousey in a match before Wrestlemania. She needs the training and exposure. This could be really good or really bad at WrestleMania. We just have to wait and see.

Miztourage and Gallows and Anderson had a match....moving on.

Elias had a match...moving on

Cena's match vs Kane...sigh...why just freaking why? Undertaker shouldn't come back and Cena just needs to move on and continue making movies. I mean at this point Cena looks desperate pathetic and just sad.

This Week on RAW

Team Rousey vs Team McMahon opened the show with a sitdown showdown in the middle of the ring. Handled by Jonathan Coachman. Both sides were asked questions by Coachman that the WWE Universe has asked via Twitter.

It wasn't a bad segment. It was ok. Rousey is clearly flubbing a lot but so did Roman. Pair her up with Road Dogg Jessie James for a while and she'll get the hang of it just like Roman did. Anyway, they both made solid points and Stephanie was viciously attacking Ronda on her UFC loss and how she dealt with it. If that'd been me I would've shaken the table on that hoe instantly! I can't stand a power GREEDY ARROGANT TRUST FUND BABY who hasn't experienced anything her precious father hasn't given her. The segment went back and forth and it ended with a stare down between Rousey and McMahon. Kurt got in the middle which resulted in Triple H hitting him from behind once again and Rousey taking over. But before she could do anything Stephanie put her through a table. It would the slowest table slam I've ever seen in my life. LMAO

MATCHES

Women's Division: Bayley vs Sonya Deville
Winner: Bayley

This match was ok. It didn't really start strong and it didn't finish strong either. Bayley is allowing this issue with Sasha to cloud her judgment and vice versa with Sasha. It's easy to see that both of these women need to fight it out. I think they should've had a best of series with Sasha and Bayley kind of like what they did with Cesaro and Sheamus. But have it culminate at Wrestlemania with another Iron Woman match or Steel Cage Match. It would've been EPIC!

Men's Division: Finn Balor vs Seth Rollins
Winner: Seth Rollins

This match was AWESOME! NO PUN INTENDED LMAO. The Miz was on commentary and basically gushed about his newest edition little Monroe. Congrats Miz and Maryse by the way. That was not the draw. The draw was this amazing match between Rollins and Balor. They play well off of each other even as faces. They are just GOOD! I loved this match and Rollins keeps proving that he is Mr. Monday Night Raw.

Men's Division: Matt Hardy vs Goldust
Winner: Matt Hardy

This was just odd and poor booking. I have nothing to say about this match other than let's move on.

Women's Division: Mickie James & Alexa Bliss vs Dana Brooke & Asuka
Winner: Dana Brooke & Asuka

We all know how any match with Asuka will end. She will win. So yea I wasn't looking forward to this. But I am glad that Dana got to show some prowess and got a win under her belt. I was really hoping that Nia would get her hands on that little bitch and give us all the satisfaction we so desperately need and want. Solid match and I'm glad Dana got a spot to shine on.

Men's Division: Heath Slater vs Elias
Winner: Elias

Uh...unnecessary and uninterested. This was a time filler.

Team McMahon vs Team Rousey

Uh...is it me or is Ronda in desperate need of help on the mic and the delivery of her moves. Now don't get me wrong I love Ronda. I think her coming to WWE is great. But she's gotta develop a persona other than just being Ronda Rousey. Yea she's great but where's the spunk, the spark, the vivaciousness. Stephanie and Triple H have tenure. They have personality, spunk. And they know how to work the mic. Ronda needs help asap, she's too green. It was a huge mistake to make her very first match at Wrestlemania. That is pressure beyond belief. She should've had her first match months ago on RAW and then worked the dark shows. However on the other side, for Stephnie to be as immersed in the WWE as she is her skills are lacking also. Ronda has an excuse she's no wrestler she's learning. But Stephanie was born in this business. She has no excuse as to why she can't sell a table drop. Ronda had to help her ass out on that and it still looked slow and sloppy. No, Ma'am. It wasn't devastating nor was it worth the cost of the broken table. It just didn't do it

Brains Strowman?

You know there are days where I'm on board with WWE and their antics but this just takes the cake. So, of course, the tag team champs are wondering who Strowman's partner is going to be at Wrestlemania and so is the rest of the WWE Universe. But for the past 2 weeks, Strowman has successfully taken out both members of The Bar with ease. So it really doesn't matter it who his partner is because he is competition on his own. But this week, Braun decided to poke a little fun and add some mind games to the story. He came out tonight as Brains Strowman. Literally with a sleeveless shirt and glasses as his disguise. Chile...I was so floored with laughter.

Cena Still has No Answer to his Challenge?

Listen I've been a fan of Cena's for years. But this whole LATE CHALLENGE to the Undertaker is irritating as hell. I just don't understand why this wasn't set up at least a month ago. Instead of having Cena put in both Main Event matches at the respective pay per views for each show at the last minute. Just to lose and then beg for the Undertaker to GIVE him a WrestleMania moment makes him look weak and needy. He's John Cena for god's sake, the franchise boy. The last of the attitude era. The leader of PG movement. How does one legend in his own right have to beg for a chance against another legend aka ICON at Wrestlemania? Something about this doesn't seem right. Its ridiculous and I want it to be over. Undertaker answered every single challenge issued to him except John's. Ugh... it's annoying

Nia Jax Makes it Known Yeah I'm Big and I'm COMING FOR YOU BITCH!

Nia had an interview with Renee. It really hit home for me with her emotion towards this subject. Real or not. This is something that plagues the world. The mean girls are always the most insecure and they want to tear you down and make you feel less than so they can feel better. I wish every girl who is being teased and was teased can watch this match and feel vindicated. I can't wait for this to go down.

No matter how you look at this it looks bad for Alexa Bliss. If she beats Nia at Wrestlemania it will only prove that WWE isn't as progressive as they claim. And if Nia wins she'll lose her title while being pummeled Honestly its time for new blood, new arrivals, and new matches. I can't wait. Because who will be the first challenge Nia as the newly crowned Women's Champion? Besides Alexa's rematch. If I was Mickie I would screw her ass at Wrestlemania and make her lose on the grandest stage of them all. Just me and my opinion.

Brock & Roman Clash One Final Time

Honestly, this was a 1 way street for a while. And Monday they allowed Roman to show some come up. However, he was still laid out by Lesnar in the end. I get they are trying to build this up but for the past 2 weeks, but Roman has been getting manhandled. And now it all it took was a few superman punches to get Brock down? Smdh.

OVERALL

This show was good. It gave us just enough to want to go over to Wrestlemania and see the final outcome. I was entertained and I'm anxiously waiting for Sunday night.

RAW kicked off with a Gauntlet Match with all 7 members of the Men's Division Elimination Chamber! No monologues, no talking just STRAIGHT FIRE! Now, this is what I've been talking about!!!!!

Matches

Men's Division: Gauntlet Match

1st Match: Rollins vs Reigns
Winner: Seth Rollins

2 Former Members of the Shield. 2 men who know each other extremely well. This match started off slow. A lot of groundwork and headlocks. It slowly started to pick up. Roman got kicked in the stomach and wasn't feeling it all. But who would? I mean I've been accidentally hit in the stomach for real and I can tell you that ish feels like everything you ever have eaten is rotten in your stomach and your stomach is like HELL NAWL OUT BISH OUT! LMAO Anyway Roman raised up quick on Seth and they faced off. Now its back to Roman's pace. Groundwork, purposefully slowing Rollins down. When this match picked up it was awesome. Superman punches, dives, powerbombs on the turnbuckle and a possible curb stomp. Reigns and Rollins roll each other up. But Rollins got the roll-up for the win.

2nd Match: Rollins vs Cena
Winner: Seth Rollins

Rollins was READY ain't no waiting! Took out Cena before he could even get his gear off! LMAO Went in for the pin but Cena kicked out. Rollins has to hit hard and fast to end this. John Cena is one of those guys who can go for at least 30 to 45 minutes (hey hey get your minds out of the gutter you know exactly what I mean LMAO).

Yo, this MATCH WAS BOMB!!!!! IT WAS FUCKING BOMB!!!! Seth Rollins hit Cena with his own AA and Cena still kicked out. Rollins had to hit Cena with a curb stomp to end this EPIC MATCH! IT WAS EPIC!

3rd Match: Rollins vs Elias
Winner: Elias

Elias came out trying to get the drop on Seth several times but still, Seth kicked out. Elias is dangerous. He is trying to destroy Rollins' knee. It is brutal. Elias hits the Driftway and takes down Seth. Seth was in the ring for an hour against two of the biggest stars in the WWE. He really put forth a massive effort to win this gauntlet. Hats off Kingslayer! Classic Matches! That was 100% amazing.

Side Note: This match had been going on for an hour and 10 minutes. In 60 minutes Seth Rollins has been in 3 matches! He was absolutely spectacular!

4th Match: Elias vs Balor
Winner: Balor

Balor and Elias' match slowed down the Gauntlet. It turned into a normal match. Elias kept the tempo slow which in my eyes made it boring. Despite the fact that Balor did everything he could to speed things up. He picks up the win with a Coup de Grace. Love that move I wish he would do his old move from NXT. 1916 I believe he called it. Ah, I loved that finisher.

5th Match: The Miz vs Balor
Winner: THE MIZ

The Miz uses his MizBitches to distract and take out Finn Balor. Finn Balor and The Miz had a decent match until Bo Dallas and Curtis Axel got involved. They cost Balor the match. Violently pulling Balor's arm down over the top rope and distracting the ref. Gave Miz the win. But only to succumb to the monster among men. The final entrant in the gauntlet BRAUN STROWMAN LMAO

6th Match: The Miz vs Braun Strowman
Winner: Braun Strowman

This was THE MOST SATISFYING MATCH OF THE NIGHT. NO NEED FOR THE ASMR OR SLIME VIDEOS. Just watch this over and over and you'll be fine. You'll sleep like a baby I promise. LMAO anyway, the match a slaughtering of The Miz and his MizBitches. Truly a satisfying ending to the chamber gauntlet match. I highly recommend you watch the highlights!

Tag Team Division: The Bar vs Titus Worldwide
Winner: Titus Worldwide

To make this less drawn out and boring Titus Worldwide won the match. It was interesting to me the way they won and every time they beat The Bar its always on a fluke. This is the 3rd or 4th time The Bar has been pinned by Titus and Apollo.

Women's Division: 6 Woman Tag Team Match - Bayley, Sasha Banks, & Mickie James vs Absolution & Alexa Bliss
Winner: Bayley, Sasha Banks, & Mickie James

I gotta be honest...I didn't care for this match. It had been done so many times with the same people over and over did really matter who won? Sasha picked up the win for her team. Only to be attacked by the two members of Absolution. Alexa gets attacked but Mickie saves her. Leaving it up to the audience to speculate if there will be teams to look for in the chamber? Or is it truly every woman for herself?

The Participants of the Chamber Speak on their Chances & Their Performances in the Gauntlet Match

John had a somber answer to Renee's questions. He basically said that he is juggling so much and he just needs to focus. For the 1st time in 14 years (I believe not sure) John Cena does not have a clear path to WrestleMania. And now it's becoming clear he may not make it. It's time to focus.

Seth made it clear that his wins over John Cena and Roman Reigns mean nothing if he doesn't win the Elimination Chamber. His performance was amazing I loved it every minute of it. He truly is #MrMondayNight and could very well be #MrEliminationChamber.

Finn made it clear that he was coming after The Miz in the Chamber. He would get his revenge and win the Chamber to face Lesnar.

Elias says he'll come in 7th, pick up the scraps, win the chamber and go on to beat Lesnar to show the world what WWE really stands for.

Ronda Rousey Gets a Spotlight before Signing her WWE contract at the Chamber

I'm all for Ronda Rousey getting her shine. I love her. I think she's an amazing athlete with a cool personality. But what is the point of the contract signing at Elimination Chamber? What happened? Did you not build up enough rivalries for the show? Or are you pushing Rousey so you can hype up her appearance even more?! Honestly strange but its WWE pretty much everything they do is strange. I also am curious about how Rousey will be used. She is pretty much a silent killer when it comes to her personality. No disrespect but she doesn't come across like The Miz and ZacI don't know how that will translate into the WWE. Ronda doesn't seem to act well. WWE is the ultimate Improv stage. She has been thrust into a world where thinking on your feet and being smart enough to react when the timing is right is a must. Plus your personality must shine through at all costs. It's the very reason why a lot of people who do make it don't stay in the WWE. But if Roman can break out of his shell become one of the biggest stars to date in the WWE. I'm confident that Ronda will find her niche. Whether she be face or heel. Although I'd like to see her break out in a heel persona.

Asuka Sends a Message and Nia Responds

Asuka was interviewed about this Sunday's Elimination Chamber. The possibilities of her opponent Wrestlemania and her pending match at Elimination Chamber against Nia Jax. After Asuka pushed through with her answer which was basically that Asuka will not lose, she will win. Nia attempted to attack from behind. But Asuka caught it. She would be taken out eventually. Nia Jax just got the drop on her and took her out. Solidifying her point that on Sunday she's going to break the precious streak of Asuka.

The Women were an After Thought

I'm sorry but this ending SUCKED! THIS MATCH SUCKED IT JUST COMPLETELY SUCKED! This match had been done so many freaking times the only new thing was Alexa Bliss. And real talk she could've kept her little behind in the back! Keep it G!
There was no reason for this to happen other than hyping the elimination chamber match. Which great awesome I'm all for it but maybe if WWE hadn't played this out so many freaking times it wouldn't seem like I'm watching the same damn raw for the last 2 months. I feel like this should've been in the middle of the show before that amazing gauntlet match.

Bray Wyatt & Matt Hardy are Still Locked in Battle...Somewhat

The only way this match will make sense to you is if you go back and watch RAW from a few months ago. This has no place on the docket. I would rather they put the Miz and Finn Balor in a match at the chamber for the Intercontinental Championship. And have these two in the chamber. I'm just keeping it real. No shade to Balor because he deserves a shot and no shade to the Miz because he deserves a shot too. But honestly, do you really want to watch a 5 to 10-minute match between Wyatt and Hardy, Darkness and Light?! I mean really? No, My G, you don't. You want to watch something worthwhile and that ain't it. They tried it didn't work it's over let's move on.

Final Thoughts

All in all, RAW was GREAT! I thoroughly enjoyed it until the final match. I hope this chamber match is worth the risk they took ending RAW the way they did. It just didn't give it anything to the finale of the show. Nor did it make me excited about the women's match. SMDH lets hope these women put on a stellar performance in the 1st ever women's elimination chamber match. It going to be brutal.

Until Next Time Folks...I bid you adieu!

Thursday, February 15, 2018

Look I'm sorry ok. I've been sick with the flu for the past 2 weeks. I haven't been able to post about wrestling and honestly some of it I haven't watched. I've missed a lot. But I'm feeling better and I want to start my blog. So without further ado here is my review of tonights Monday Night Raw!

Last Week on Monday Night Raw:

Bayley lost to Asuka but earned her respect

Cena, Strowman, and Elias battled for the 6th Man entrance in the Chamber. Elias won. I thought the whole point of that Elimination Chamber was to see who would enter. The Surprise of it, Right?!

Elimination Chamber Tournament continued. Currently, the men in the chamber: Roman Reigns, Braun Strowman, John Cena, The Miz, Elias, and a last chance winner of tonights match fatal four way. Finn Balor vs Matt Hardy vs Apollo Crews vs Bray Wyatt.

Mickie James is saved by her former ally Alexa Bliss

Women's Elimination Chamber Participants were Announced. Bliss will defend her title against: Bayley, Sasha, Sonya, Mandy, & Mickie James. Bliss tried to wriggle her way out of defending her title in the Elimination Chamber but Kurt shut that ish down real quick like.

Now that we're sort of caught up from what I can remember. Listen I was in a haze of medicine and hot toddies so I was 4 sheets to the wind man...I was dead to rights Lmao. Anyways...here's the review of this weeks Monday Night RAW...

Monday, January 29, 2018

The RAW 25th Anniversary was this past Monday. It was uh interesting, to say the least, but let's get into it.

RAW started with the Prince and Princess of WWE (usually I call her the queen but today because of the circumstances I'll call her a princess) Stephanie & Shane McMahon. Thanking all the wrestlers of the present, past, and future for their hard work and dedication to the show. They also thanked all of us the WWE Universe for watching and making RAW last to 25 years.

They introduced the chairman Vince McMahon and after a big family hug presented him with a plaque. Vince was less than impressed. Steph and Shane (Stephanie mostly) claim a go fund me was created and the fans bought this lovely plaque for him. Well, that caused a funny and nostalgic chain of events that are too cool to describe. Watch the video and return that childhood Monday Night Raw with Stone Cold being this rebel self, hitting everyone with a STUNNER!!!!

RAW 25 had a few matches. Best match of the night in my book was definitely the IC Championship.

Matches

Men's Division: Titus Worldwide vs Slater & Rhyno
Winner: No Winner. Dudley Boys Interfered

Really in this match, there wasn't much to explain. Both teams were performing...I guess. Then Dudley Boys intervened and took Heath Slater to Dudleyville via a TABLE!

Women's Division: Sasha, Bayley, Mickie, & Asuka vs Absolution, Nia, & Alicia
Winner: Sasha, Bayley, Mickie & Asuka

This match cool. Especially the end. Asuka ended up throwing everybody out of the ring! Her own teammates but Sunday its everyone for themselves and everyone got a glimpse of the first winner of the Women's Royal Rumble. I'll be shocked if she didn't win.

Intercontinental Championship Match: The Miz vs Roman Reigns (c)
Winner: The Miz

This match was awesome! I just wish Miz would've won clean over Roman. However, despite the typical cheating, it was still a good match. Well performed on both sides! Roman has been putting out nothing but quality as of late despite how people feel about him. The Miz did his job exceptionally well on Monday. THE BEST MATCH OF NIGHT HANDS DOWN!

Woken Matt vs Bray Wyatt
Winner: Bray Wyatt

This match was performed at the Manhattan Venue. It wasn't well received from the crowd reaction and honestly, it was underwhelming in its performance. It was just eh...

The Revival vs The Good Bros (Anderson & Gallows)
Winner: The Good Bros

I'm sorry, but I was disinterested at this point. RAW was so stagnant I had it on with the volume but I checked out. However, I was able to see the end and the fact that Gallows and Anderson picked up a win. While DX and Finn Balor finished them off after the match was over. Then

In Other News

Strowman, Lesnar, and Kane Have a Confrontation

The ending of RAW was interesting. Kurt brought out as many people as he could to thwart a huge fight. But it didn't work. Kane Strowman and Lesnar were combustible. And Lesnar lit the fuse for sure. He thick necked agitator Paul Heyman struck the spark of the powder keg. They fought it out. Braun ultimately was the last man STANDING.

The Undertaker Returns!

The Undertaker is done. I don't think he'll be coming back. And it sucks because Rick Flair was able to make a definite good bye. I don't like the hanging in the balance will he return won't he. He said last Monday that all his victims shall finally rest in peace. King and JR were confused. The fans were too busy chanting and taunting to really hear what he said. So I hope he is done. Not because I don't want to see him but because he's over 50 and his body has taken a lot of damage. He has a wife and a daughter. Fans or Family: I'd choose family any day!

DX Balor Club & Scott Hall

DX came out did their song and dance. Scott Hall came (who I love always the bad guy) out and did his performance. Then Balor Club came out. Of course the love affair didn't last long because the Revival came out. I like the Revival as performers. But I don't care for the persona. Its just this has been done before. By the very same guys your standing across from in the ring. Gallows and Anderson came to the WWE with the same chip on their shoulder just like the Revival.

Anyway they came together and took out the Revival. Then nothing but respect was given. This whole segment was long and drawn out. It was weak. I didn't care for it until Balor Club came in. Honoring the greats is cool but I'm tired of watching Triple H and Shawn Michaels get up their with their leather jackets and skipping in the ring. Ugh...it just I wasn't feeling it.

Honoring the GMs and Female Superstars

Past GMs except Vickie Guerrero. Don't worry she showed up at the Royal Rumble....smdh it was sad. Trish, Michelle, Maryse, Maria Kanellis, Jacquelene, The Bellas, and more. I'm not a fan of the Bellas at all but Nikki was the longest reigning Divas champion. She annoyed me and so does her sister. Both did nothing for the Divas division besides boost their own stardom. However they were there and represented the division for years so kudos to them for the honor.

APA Pokergame

I loved the APA Pokergame and I miss JBL on commentary. I don't know why he left full time commentary. Probably due to the schedule and constantly having to work. But that pokergame was cute. Catching Heath Slater cheating and leading to the Dudley Boyz return!

Weird WWE Superstars

Jonathan Coachman lead the charge on this one with everyone from Brother Love to the Boogey Man to Teddy Long. Arriving in the GMs office and congratulating on 25 years of RAW

Jericho Confronts Elias About his Scarf & Music

This segment I loved. Jericho is one of my favorite Heels (hell wrestlers in general). It was cute campy and funny.

Elias & John Cena Cross Paths Again

Yawn....honestly I see why this happening. Elias is being put over. Ok great truth is he's already OVER! People love Elias and Hate him. So...yep!

Mean Gene Okerlund Interviews Aj Styles

Classic interview and probably a dream come true for Aj Styles.

Charlotte & Ric Flair Confront Alexa Bliss

Charlotte let it be known to be the WOMAN you have to BEAT the WOMAN! I love Charlotte. Heel or Face she was bred for this. Natural Selection lol.

The Godfather & Mark Henry

The Godfather introduces Mark Henry to his beautiful wife. She's a stunning woman. Good to see the Godfather without the skanks or hoe train.

OVERALL

RAW was just blah. It had good parts like the match between Roman and The Miz. It was awesome. Plus the final moments of the show. They left it with Strowman looking dominant and the rest of the men in the match at the Royal Rumble looking like easily squash able ants. I will say this. After all, this buildup and all this hype only have Brock walk out as champion like he's some dominant force when he barely puts in any work is absolutely ridiculous. We all know Kane ain't winning nothing. Once he loses he will go back to running for Mayor in Tennessee I believe. So its only down to 2 people: Strowman and Lesnar. If I am being completely honest my money is on Strowman but I know the WWE has an agenda and it always starts with Brock Lesnar and ends with Lesnar.

Look RAW took place at two venues Manhattan Center and Barclays Center in Brooklyn. There were only 2 matches in the Manhattan Venue. It was sad. The fans of the Manhattan arena were pissed!
It's rumored that Jerry the King Lawler and JR were both napping it was so boring. Why didn't they have dark show matches at the Manhattan venue until televised segments came back on? Why did they spread themselves so thin?

OMG Y'all RAW was GOOOOD!

Seth Rollins brought back his devastating curb stomp but it might be revoked, Jason Jordan is still on some bullshit, Braun Strowman was on a warpath, Roman had to wrestle both members of the MizTourage ugh, and so much more!

RAW started off with the Monster Among Men solidifying his dominance. He does what he wants when he wants. Well, Kurt Angle wasn't having it. He decided that Braun Strowman's actions were too violate for RAW. He fired him in the middle of the ring on Live Television. Kurt was escorted to the ring by security but they left with Braun. As they escorted him to the back one of the security guards got a little snippy and he got popped for it! Braun snapped and went BALLISTIC!

Security Guards were being thrown tables turned over omg it was AWESOME and little scary (yea I know I know what you're saying "calm down tiff it's fake, its staged" well I like playing into the gig aight so just get with it)! This destruction continued all night. Throughout the night Braun Strowman was just causing CHAOS!

But I'll delve into that later. Let's get to matches for the night.

MATCHES

Tag Team Division: Titus Worldwide vs The Bar Pt. 2
Winner Titus Worldwide

To be honest this match was really good. Sheamus and Cesaro wanted redemption for last week and they were on the verge to get it. For the most part, The Bar kept their end of the bargain. They kept their foot on Titus Worldwide for the majority of the match. And Titus Worldwide put up a good fight. but towards the end, it was clear that The Bar was headed toward redemption until...Jason Jordan came out and caused a distraction. It was silly and unnecessary. He didn't interfere or come down to the ring. He literally stood the top of the key. It was enough for him to be out there to cause distraction and Titus Worldwide was able to pick up the win. This, of course, infuriated The Bar. While Jordan laughs Rollins comes out. Arguing about "interfering" in their match.

Cruiserweight Division: Tony Nese with Enzo Amore vs Cedric Alexander with Goldust
Winner: Cedric Alexander

I was okay with Tony Nese vs Cedric Alexander. It was a cool little filler match. Goldust being there was just odd to me. Cedric picked up another win over the Zo Train. I'm gonna be honest I tune out the cruiserweights sometimes because they are not giving them a viable chance to thrive. So take a look at the highlights to get a taste of the match. I can't explain what I didn't fully pay attention to.

Women's Division: Asuka vs Nia Jax
Winner:  Asuka by Decision (Nia Jax was unable to compete due to injury.)

This match had its moments but Nia Jax dominated most of it. What I found to be strange was the commentary. Listen I did not see NXT EVER except for a few matches. I did see however that Nia and Asuka have battled before. So for them to play it like Asuka was facing a challenge she had never faced was just stupid to me. Okay back to the match. Asuka did everything she could to fend off Nia but Nia was prepared. Until she slipped up. Trying to soften Asuka up, even more, cost her the match. Climbing on the steel steps Asuka attacks her knee. Forcing a fall between the steps and the ring post. It got worse when Nia tried to get up and ended up falling back first with her knee caught on the steel steps. She writhed in pain it was scary to see. She managed to beat the count to get back in the ring but she could not stand on her own and as a result, Asuka was named the winner and the match was ended.

Tag Team Division: The Revival vs Local Talent
Winner: The Revival

This match was meant to showcase The Revival's return and give them some groundswell for possible title contingency later. Other than that there's nothing else to say about the match. But I will get into what was said later in the blog. Just hold tight or scroll to the overall section.

Men's Division: Roman Reigns vs The MizTourage with The Miz
Winner: Roman Reigns

This match...I wasn't able to see all the way through. My SlingTV app was acting up during this and the match with Matt and Heath Slater. But I did get to see some of it. However not enough to do commentary. So watch the clip from YouTube and you know who won so....yea!

Women's Division: Sasha Banks vs Sonya Deville
Winner: Sonya Deville

Finally a clean match over a vet by one of these newbies. Sonya looked great. She started off great dominated Sasha for the better part of the match. Until Sasha was able to turn the match in her favor. One mistake cost her the whole match. She jumped off the top turnbuckle and instead of Sonya taking the shot she kicked Sasha dead in the gut. She couldn't recover and get beat. Sonya picked up the win, A CLEAN WIN.

Of course I felt bad for Sasha but finally one of these women looked like a viable contender for the women's champion. I was so happy y'all. I like Sonya and I am curious to see what niche she'll carve out in the WWE on her own. Yall know how I feel about the squad ish.

Men's Division: Matt Hardy vs Heath Slater
Winner: Matt Hardy

The SlingTV strikes again folks. It was a serious snow day and windy. It made life hell for me. Even when I tried to watch it back I couldn't watch it because it didn't record properly. And Hulu takes the highlights pulls it together and calls it a show. Its always missing a segment ugh its annoying as hell. But anywho. I did see this. He literally laughed Heath Slater out of the ring. It hella bizarre and funny. A twist of fate and it was OVA! DELETE DELETE DELETE LMAO.

Main Event: Seth Rollins vs Finn Balor
Winner: Seth Rollins assist via Jason Jordan

This match was really good. Seth and Finn have great chemistry. Similar in-ring styles, similar work ethic, they are just great at what they do no matter what. They have that workhorse mentality like Dolph Ziggler. They go out every night no matter the match or who it's against and put on an AH-MAZING performance. It's a joy to watch them both. Now Jason set this match up which get into in the Overall section of the blog. Jason also involved himself heavily in the match. Now the tag team contenders The Bar still steaming from their loss earlier to Titus Worldwide. They came out with an agenda get the champs back! But the Good Bros were Balor's side and they were not going to allow Sheamus and Cesaro to cost him this match. So it started a brawl. Leaving little ole Jordan in the wake. Meanwhile, Finn got the drop on Seth. And just as he was picking up momentum in the match Baby Breath Jordan trips the former champ. This allows Seth to recuperate and hit a devastating curb stomp. I am so glad its back (for now I loved that move). Seth picked up the win. Unaware of Jordan's treachery.

So the final moments of RAW end with Finn struggling to recover from that curb stomp and the champs staring them down in the ring. A confused but happy Seth and an overly confident and conniving Jordan.

OVERALL

This was one of the best RAW's I've seen in awhile and it was a great lead into this week's RAW. RAW 25! So let's break down the non-wrestling moments of the show.

Braun Strowman Gets Fired and Re-Hired All In One Show!

Listen when I tell you Braun Strowman was wrecking shit all night I mean that! It was awesome though. I mean he went ballistic when he got fired. Now as I explained before Braun got fired on NATIONAL TELEVISION LIVE IN FRONT OF THE WORLD! So naturally, he was not pleased. I could understand if they did it off camera and he came in on a tear. But Kurt was like hell nawl your outta here in front of everybody.

So here's a list of all the things he did while on his destructive path:
  • Braun eff'd up security
  • Curt Hawkins (WWE resident jobber 100+ matches and counting)
  • a delicious looking chocolate cake from craft services
  • craft services
  • scared the bejesus out of the production truck workers
  • destroyed Kurt's office
  • turned over a production truck
  • threw Michael Cole in a sea of security

The only thing that saved this show from being the Braun Strowman Destruction Show was none other than the Queen of WWE herself Stephanie McMahon. When she got wind of Braun's destruction and she demanded Kurt rehire the man. Despite being rehired he still threw Michael Cole into a crowd of security.

Booker T's punk ass pushed Michael in front of Braun. If he hadn't been such a little bitch Michael might've got away. But Michael was shook up, he couldn't continue commentary so, Tom Phillips took his place and honestly I didn't really notice much of a difference. I like Tom. If Michael ever retired I would be happy to see Tom take his place.

Goldust in the Cruiserweight Division

I'm very confused. Is Goldust 205lbs? Cause dude. I am so lost. Why? Why was Goldust sent to the Cruiserweight division? What is going on? Is it that they have nothing for Goldust to do? No rivalry to make? What the hell is he going to do for Cedric Alexander? Cause honestly he doesn't need him! Cedric is an awesome in-ring performer. I love watching his matches and that Lumbar Check is EVERYTHING! I want Cedric to win at the Royal Rumble but I have a funny feeling he won't. It will either be because of Nia Jax or Enzo will find another way to cheat. As far as Goldust is concerned I need him to leave the cruiserweight division and the WWE dedicates a real set of writers to this division and makes it worthwhile.

Once Again with Baby Breath Jordan and his Bullshit

I strongly dislike Jason Jordan's character right now. He's a douchebag. And he will be the sole reason they lose these tag team titles. Not to Sheamus and Cesaro (although I wouldn't mind that either) but to the Good Bros Gallows and Anderson. They've been gaining an even stronger following now that they've aligned themselves with Finn. I expect to see them as champion to see The Revival vs The Good Bros (Balor Club). That's a match I'd like to see.

But back to Jordan. He's running to Kurt completely oblivious and or just didn't care that Braun is running around destroying the entire WWE locker room. Claiming that he "would've" dealt with Braun. Right...like last time. Bruh you couldn't even attempt to stand up to Braun let alone "deal with him". He proceeds with asking for this match on Seth's behalf saying Seth needed it to redeem himself from losing the match last week.

Uh...thats not what I remember. What I remember was you in the ring IN THE WAY AS USUAL caused a distraction an unnecessary and costly distraction that gave Balor Club the win. So no Seth didn't lose the match yo punk ass did!

I'm at the point now where I hope they reveal he's not really Kurt's son. So this can all be OVER!

BTW: So they have gone and completely abandoned the whole storyline of Corey knowing everything and having a "reliable source". Who was the source? Who was threatening Kurt and feeding Graves all the info? Or was it Graves himself causing problems? We will never know because WWE never finishes out the damn storyline!

The LOVE Triangle: Nia Jax, Alexa Bliss, & Enzo Amore

This whole situation is interesting. It seems like Enzo really likes Nia and vice versa. But Alexa is using her friend and only concerned with keeping her title. What's interesting is WWE hasn't named an opponent for either of the women's champs at Royal Rumble. The male counterparts both have matches and opponents. So why aren't the women's belts being defended? Ugh, that's an argument for another day.

Alexa at first seemed genuinely concerned that her friend was injured. But she ended up making it about her and her concern for Asuka coming after her title. Then Enzo shows up concerned for his lady. Alexa tries to shoo him away but Nia is like naw you shoo away. Girl, it was hilarious.

Alexa's days are numbered. And I for one am happy about it. She's hoarded this title for long enough I want to see some real competition vying for this belt. She hasn't added anything but sass and attitude. I would rather watch Sasha Paige Sony Deville Mandy Rose and Bayley (honestly I'm no fan of Bayley's) fight it out every time for the belt than to watch Baby Bliss walk around telling everyone how dominant she is. I've had it.
