Tuesday evening it was reported that Jey Uso was arrested and charged with a DWI in Hidalgo, Texas. This was before the Tuesday night broadcast of Smackdown Live which he did participate in.

Joshua Fatu (aka Jey) was pulled over for a 1 am traffic violation. The officer observed and noticed signs of intoxication. The wrestler was then administered a field sobriety test. It was determined he was under the influence. He was then arrested and booked. No mentions of a breathalyzer test being administered.

WWE is aware and released a statement via PW Insider Mike Johnson:
"Joshua Fatu is responsible for his own personal actions. We are investigating the matter and awaiting information from local law enforcement officials."

Hopefully, this will blow over and not cause any issues with the Usos. They are the flagship of the show. Honestly on many nights, they should've closed the show with their matches. They have carried Smackdown Live along with New Day. It would be a shame to see all that hard work go up in smoke because of Jey making one bad decision. Right now his wrestling career hangs in the balance. It's a shame! Y'all wrestlers have a lot of pressure but you gotta keep it together. Find something to occupy your time besides alcohol. Read a book, call the fam, chill and get into some Netflix shows or something.

Stay on your DAY ONE ISH!

There was a massive drug bust down in Miami that was broken up in February of 2017. The man at the helm of this operation was Richard Rodriguez. DEA raided his gym called Iron Addicts in Miami for possible steroid distribution. The gym was a partnership between Rodriguez and Mike Rashid. Mike Rashid was implicated in this drug ring simply because he was co-owner of the gym and Rodriguez used it as a base of operation for his "pharmaceutical business". But Mike has insisted on his innocence and was never implicated in the arrest warrant or investigation. After the bust, Rodriguez was sent to prison and has been there ever since. He now has an interview with YouTuber Jon Bravo talking about the big name clients he was supplying these steroids too. These big name clients are allegedly actor Mark Wahlberg, Josh Duhamel, and WWE superstar Roman Reigns. Keep in mind Rodriguez has been in prison for almost a year never said a word when he got arrested and now has decided to speak out.

Here's the interview for you to listen to for yourself. I'm sorry but I don't believe it!

Now, this is a strong accusation. This can put Roman's entire future in jeopardy. However, I'm side-eyeing this story. In June of 2016, Roman was suspended for taking Adderall. A drug used to increase alertness, aggressiveness, attention, and concentration. It can also improve reaction time, especially when fatigued. If he was using steroids during that time he should've been caught. And because Roman popped positive I would imagine he's got to be one of those guys who will be randomly tested all the time. To ensure he's completely clean. It would be foolish of him to one-up the Adderall for Steroids after testing positive last year. Something in the milk ain't clean.

WWE has strict guidelines against steroid usage because of the situation with Chris Benoit. If there was even a hint of steroids in his system Roman would've been cut from the roster immediately. I don't think the WWE would risk their companies reputation for Roman Reigns. They cut Hulk Hogan IMMEDIATELY after his racist tirade and he is a WWE Hall of Famer! A flagship superstar and his legacy is a mile long! Roman hasn't even built a legacy yet so yea Triple H and the boys would drop his ass like a bad habit or he'd be subject to punishment for violating the Wellness Policy.

Until I see some proof I won't believe it. And after this report on Bleacher Report, the WWE will most likely test him now to prove he is clean.

Roman Reigns I pray you are keeping your nose clean and out of this mess. Cause baby listen, you got Championships to win, a Family Legacy to uphold, and a family to feed. You ain't got time for the FOOLISHNESS! BELIEVE THAT!

Update: Via TMZ.com January 18, 2018

Listen According to Roman Reigns via TMZ he's been tested 11 times since he popped positive 2 years ago. He says he doesn't know that man and he has been clean ever since the Adderall incident. Per his words, if he was tested 11 times and this dude Rodriguez giving him steroids, believe me, he would've been suspended and then if it continued to happen WWE would've cut him from the roster.

Well, SmackDown Live is coming back on Tuesday @ 8pm on USA Network. Let's recap of last week's show shall we? Don't say I never did anything for ya! LMAO LEGGO.

SDLive kicked off with Renee Young and Aj Styles conducting an interview about last week's bombshell announcement. Concerning the WWE Championship and Aj Styles having to defend it in a handicap match.

Aj tried to avoid the question but Renee continued to press. He refused to play the game or Renee's questioning. Aj made it clear he didn't know what the hell was going on. And no he didn't think it was fair to have to defend his title in a handicap match. But that's life. It isn't fair and you just have to roll with it. He did like one aspect of the match. The fact that he gets to beat down both Sami and Kevin in one night and the fact that he gets to show everyone why SmackDown Live is the house that A.J. Styles Built (well that's a little overzealous. we all know had it not been for the Rock there would be no SmackDown Live! #FACTS sorry I had to say that it was necessary LMAO).

Of course, the puppet master and his puppet couldn't let that slide! KO and dancing Sami came out to mock the champ. Letting him know that his days are numbered. Then Shane McMahon came out.  Shane McMahon voiced his opinion on the matter. He said while he questioned the GM's decision he fully supported and backed the match and it will go on as scheduled. As for the main event, it will be a handicap match Aj Styles, Shinsuke Nakamura, & Randy Orton vs Kevin Owens & Sami Zayn in a 3 on 2 handicap match. Giving them a taste of their own medicine.

Matches

Becky Lynch (Naomi and Charlotte Flair ) vs Ruby Riott (Riott Squad)
Winner: Becky Lynch via Submission

This match was ok. It wasn't great and it wasn't bad either. It was great to Lynch back in the ring. She looked good and kept up the pace with the Ruby. Ultimately Becky was able to pick up a win with the DisArm Her in her first match back in the WWE since (filming the Marine) her "injury".

The Ascension vs The Bludgeon Bros
Winner: The Bludgeon Bros

I'm gonna be honest I usually turn the channel or put it on mute when Ascension comes out. There's just no reason to watch them if they aren't being the dominant force they should be. However this time I didn't have to. Clearly, it sucks to be you Ascension. They tried and failed. Miserably. The Ascension tried to go at this from an offense perspective and it did nothing but agitate the Bludgeon Bros.  It was short sweet and embarrassing for Ascension. Their match lasted about 1-3 minutes tops! It was sad.

Zack Ryder vs. Mojo Rawley United States Championship Round 1
Winner: Mojo Rawley Advances

Mojo Rawley gotta fire in him that I love. Heel or not I like Mojo. I wish he would switch it up now that he's a heel. Darker clothes strong entrance music that announces his dominating presence. It clashes with his current character. He needs to represent what he's presenting. Right now you got two images going at the same time. Bright and colorful hype music and strong intense out for me attitude. The two don't mix. Other than that he dominated the match. Zack put up a good fight but he just couldn't recover from the onslaught Mojo released. Mojo advances in the US Championship tournament.

Breezango vs Rusev Day
Winner: Breezango

Genuinely surprised by the cheers Rusev is getting lately. Real Talk I'm not mad about it. I'm gonna be honest once again. When Breezango comes on the screen to wrestle or for the fashion files I just mute the tv (yea I know roll your eyes I don't care I don't like it and I don't find it funny so I don't watch. 😋). They bore me. In this match, I did the same thing I ain't even gone front. But I did manage to see Fandango pick up the win for his team. Bit of an upset with the way Rusev Day has been rolling lately.

Aj Styles, Randy Orton and Shinsuke Nakamura & Kevin Owens and Sami Zayn
Winner: Aj Styles, Randy Orton & Shinsuke Nakamura (After 2 Match Changes)
Stipulation: No DQ, No Countout

This match was so satisfying. Sigh, I loved it. They had a few back and forths but when the match swung back in Styles' team's favor, Kevin and Sami decided it was time to bounce. When the match looked like it was going to end in a count out Shane came out and changed the match to a no count out. The match continued and to end the match again Kevin and Sami decided to use chairs. Match ends on a DQ with Sami and Kevin laying waste to everyone. Shane comes out again and says its no DQ restart the match. That led to an attack from Aj Styles on Kevin Owens. Leaving Sami Zayn for the 2nd time I might add at the mercy of Randy and Shinsuke. Randy slams Sami on the announcer's table. Then throws him into the ring to only be met by Nakamura with a Kinshasa. Sami then got hit with an RKO. Randy, Shinsuke, and an absent Aj Styles pick up the win.

As satisfying as this match was Sami took the brunt of the punishment. This happens often. The last time Kevin and Sami's match broke down Kevin literally left Sami alone in the ring. He was beaten down and Kevin never returned to aid his so-called "best friend" aka "guardian angel".

Aj Styles Having to Defend his Title in a Handicap Match

via GIPHY

This would've made so much since last year around this time. Around this time last year, Aj was a heel. Cheating and slithering his way out of MOST of his matches. Now setting this type of match for a guy like that would've been plausible. But now it just seems like excessive overkill. Realistically I can't see this match being entertaining.

Shelton Benjamin & Chad Gable Complain About Their Title "Loss"

via GIPHY
Shelton & Chad you two are corny buffoons. I don't understand your logic. Chad last week you pinned Jey. However, NEITHER OF YOU WERE THE LEGAL MEN IN THE RING. Which means both you and Shelton forgot who was legal and committed a BONEHEADED mistake. If the right guy got the pin then this long ass boring ass rant you two decided to put on wouldn't have happened. They bitched for so long that Daniel Bryan came out to address their grievances. Talking too much was your biggest downfall. And you know Daniel is trigger happy to pull some bullshit because of his issues with Shane McMahon. So Gable opens his big mouth and says what do we have to do beat the Usos twice in one night? Daniel Bryan loves the idea and gives them another shot at the titles. By having them face the Usos in a 2 out of 3 fall match at the Royal Rumble.

Ok, so you know how this is gonna go right. The Usos will get a win, Chad and Gable will get a win. Then it will come down to the final bout. Which it will probably be Chad & Gable getting the championships.

Daniel Bryan and his Explanation of His Match Choices

via GIPHY

This was some bullshit plain and simple. Daniel Bryan basically explained nothing. It seems like he's acting like this on purpose. To show Shane how he's acting. But its turning into a one-up match and superstars are being caught up in the crossfire. Although it appears like he isn't doing it to be malicious to the superstars directly they are getting caught in the crossfire.

He then continues to insult Shane's family and their decision making its wrong. On all levels. I'm not saying Shane McMahon makes the best decisions. But consistently referring to a man's family as the basis of his logic and talking down about it while consistently making decisions that benefit people who don't respect you or the Commissioner. Then providing no explanation for your actions other than to deflect is as I said before some bullshit.

In the same breath, he's making himself look like he is abdicating for Kevin Owens and Sami Zayn's antics. Which he vehemently denies then grants matches for them in their favor. It's a vicious cycle and I for one wish it would move on. Rumor has it Daniel wants to wrestle again but WWE doctors won't let him. His contract is up and he's walking if they don't allow him to wrestle soon. If Daniel Bryan plans on leaving then be my guest. If not then move on and find another way to be compelling.

Jinder Mahal Addresses his Opponent Xavier Woods in the United States Championship Tournament

via GIPHY

Yall know how I feel about Jinder Mahal aka Sol Glo and the Gloettes so I won't talk about him and my feelings on him.

But I don't believe Xavier Woods will win unless they plan on turning Bobby Roode. Which I doubt. Jinder will beat Xavier and go on to wrestle at the Royal Rumble. Then Bobby will beat Jinder. Which will lead to a match between Corbin and Roode at Fastlane or Wrestlemania.

Overall

It was an entertaining show. The Usos carry SDLive right now. Their matches are always entertaining and fun to watch. The tag team division is on fire because of them and New Day but I fear once Gable & Benjamin gain those belts there will be a severe slow down in the quality of matches and the entertainment.

Daniel Bryan and Shane McMahon need to get it together. How many times can you argue about the same thing and not say anything at all? I mean they argue on this passive-aggressive level that is borderline I'm a punch you in the effing face if you say something else to me. But then you smile and just leave it alone. They need to just fight it out now while they have the chance. Especially if Daniel is cleared to wrestle soon.

Corbin was missing in action this week as was the rest of the women's division. As I said about the women on Raw if this Royal Rumble is monumental then you need to start pushing the women to the forefront. Make them a priority.

This was a decent show with a satisfying end. I was ok with the overall flow and the end of the show. I just wish the storylines had more substance and answered the questions that fans are dying to know or at least me:

1 - What the hell is Daniel Bryan doing? Are you for or against the land of opportunity? And why are you constantly insulting Shane's family?

2 - Why is Shane so hell-bent on making Kevin's life miserable? Why can't he just let this go? In the end, what do you gain besides a few seconds of satisfaction?

3 - Sami Zayn what the hell was you thinking? Did you not see what happened to the last guy who was Kevin's best friend? Why are you content with being Kevin's dancing flunky rather than being a star of your own?

Sigh, I've come to realize that these questions of mine will never be answered. So...

Until Next Time Folks...

Last week in a match with Rhyno, Samoa Joe injured his foot. After he finished his match and cut his promo he went to the back and told WWE doctors that he heard a pop in his foot. According to Sky Sports, WWE doctor Chris Amann believes Joe suffered a plantar fascia rupture. If your next question is what the hell is that then you were thinking the exact same thing I was.

A plantar fascia rupture is a relatively uncommon injury and the onset is often associated with a vigorous foot plant (Partial Plantar Tear). Treatment for this type of injury is usually rest, with little to no weight on the foot for at least 6 to 12 weeks depending on your weight. This type of injury repairs itself (healing) no surgery required.

Samoa Joe is one of the biggest draws in the WWE to date. He just returned from an injury not more than 3 weeks ago. And I'm sure he's devastated that he won't be able to participate in this year's Royal Rumble. I wouldn't expect to see Samoa Joe until March maybe April. Possibly in time for Wrestlemania.

Good Luck Joe, Get Well Soon!

Goldberg is the first inductee into the 2018 WWE Hall of Fame! It is well deserved and a long time coming!

Bill Goldberg is one of the most iconic and beloved wrestlers of all time. He was dominating, menacing and just pure AWESOME! He had an impressive winning streak of 173 matches!
Goldberg was the GOAT! He left WWE but returned 12 years later and proved he still hang with the best of them. Beating Brock Lesnar in record time. Goldberg is one of the best to ever do it!

He is in my top 5 all-time favorite wrestlers. And I'm so happy they inducted him this year!

Congratulations Bill Goldberg YOU DESERVE IT!

Raw is set to come back on this Monday @ 8pm on USA Network. So how about I get you caught up before the next show. A little refresher before this week's RAW returns?! Alright LEGGO

Roman Reigns opened up the show. Our resident InterContinental Champion came out to address his rivalry with Samoa Joe and brag about how he took him down. He made it clear when it comes to the Shield if you mess with one of us you mess with all of us.

Then Baby Breath Jordan came down and interrupted the champ before he could move on to bigger and better things.

This little back and forth continued until Seth came out to set Jordan straight. What's interesting is how this lead to a Balor Club vs a partial Shield & Jason Jordan match (I can imagine how this would've played out if Ambrose wasn't injured. It would've been epic!).

Jordan claimed "They" meaning the current version of the Shield were the most dominant group in the WWE to date. This was after Seth came down to set Jordan straight. He's trying to keep his partner in line but Jordan is constantly overstepping his bounds. It's very clear he wants in so bad that he's trying to take Dean's place (I will say this. You definitely miss Dean Ambrose. He's one of my favorite wrestlers. I really love his personality and the way he operates). Anyway, once Jordan mentioned their so-called dominance, Balor Club came out to challenge it. They gave Roman and Seth their just due but totally disregarded Jason Jordan.

Anyway, Jordan got angry and pissy pushed Karl Anderson I believe and got a little rumble started. He even got into a tissy with Roman. This lead to the GM Kurt Angle coming down and creating a main event match: 6 man tag Roman Reigns, Seth Rollins, and Jason Jordan vs The Balor Club.

Not an ideal main event but at least it put Finn in the main event for once.

Matches:

Women's Division: Sonya Deville & Mandy Rose vs. Sasha Banks & Bayley
Winner: Sasha Banks & Bayley

I have to say this match I actually enjoyed. Mandy Rose put on a great performance. Sonya as well. In the end, the vets picked up the win but those women put on a good match. It was worth watching from beginning to end. It seems like the more steps they take in pushing the regime forward with the women's division the more steps they take back. The women are getting less and less airtime as of lately. I wish they would give them viable storylines besides title shots and sneak attacks. It's more to this division than just that! And if Creative can't find a way to make viable rivalries in this division then some people need to get "Future Endeavored". And fresh faces need to be brought in to push this show beyond great in-ring performance and wishy-washy NXT brought ups.

Men's Division: Matt Hardy vs. Curt Hawkins
Winner: Matt Hardy

Um, anything with Curt Hawkins in it is going to be a win in the column for his opponent. So I'm gonna be honest I muted the tv and got on my phone for about 3 minutes.

I'm starting to think this Woken Matt schtick isn't going to be THAT great. After he beat Hawkins Bray Wyatt appeared in the ring and they literally had a laugh off. I'm not joking. They literally laughed at each other for about 2 to 3 minutes. It was bizarre at first and then it got boring. I'm wondering how they will take this Woken Matt schtick beyond the good vs evil thing. What will he do to his next opponent? Cause he's had two physical encounters with Bray and both were underwhelming. You either calm it down and make it more realistically menacing (like Kane, Undertaker, etc) or kill this character now before it gets booed out of the arena.

Men's Division: Enzo Amore (c) vs Cedric Alexander Cruiserweight Championship Match
Winner: Cedric Alexander via count out/Enzo Amore Still the ChampionUnless otherwise stipulated the title cannot change hands via count out or disqualification

This was more a performance match for Cedric than a title match. I will say this. Enzo has gotten WAY better in the ring since his debut with Big Cass a few years ago. He's a great seller when it comes to getting hit but he is really shabby on his offense and defense for that matter. Alexander outworked him in this match and it was clear he was not skilled enough to contend. He tried and I'll admit he put up a good fight. But where this match took a turn for the worse was when Enzo got a knee to the face. Cedric hit him with a knee to the face and it connected causing Amore to bleed. Then toward the end of the match, Cedric dove out of the ring on to Enzo, causing him to have a sprang or tweak his ankle. Doctors tried to tend to him as the ref counted. Enzo was aware of the count pretended like he was fine and tried to make it back in the ring. But he chickened out in the end. He clearly could've made it back in the ring in time but chose not to.

This gave Cedric the win but Enzo retained the belt. Enzo got beat up in this match. He went from being laid up with the flu, to getting kneed in the face, to tweaking his ankle. Wow...Enzo I don't know whats going on with ya but I hope you get it together.

Men's Division: Titus Worldwide vs The Bar
Winner: Titus Worldwide

When they announced who the opponents to the Shower Rod Bros would be I was like....ok Titus and thick neck are about to lose again. But to the surprise of the crowd, me, The Shower Rod Bros they picked up the win. In the beginning, Cesaro and Sheamus used quick tags and isolation to control the match. But one slip up allowed a tag to Titus that gave TW the upper hand. While Titus and Sheamus fought it out, Cesaro was taken out by Apollo Crews. Giving Titus the chance to rollup and pick up the win for his team.

Bruh...I was shocked!

Men's Division: Samoa Joe vs Rhyno
Winner: Samoa Joe

Samoa Joe took control of this match fairly quickly. Rhyno did fight back and attempt to get the upper hand but Joe was just too much for him. In the end, Joe was able to lock on the Coquina Clutch and Rhyno was done. Samoa Joe won by submission. Soon after he was interviewed about Roman's comments regarding him earlier and his loss last week. Joe made it clear that it wasn't over. He said he was going to finish what he started.

*Side Note: Joe was injured in his match with Rhyno. He may be out indefinitely due to a foot injury. He is in serious jeopardy of missing the Royal Rumble one of the biggest matches in the year. Joe has been plagued by injuries since his debut. Let's hope he's a quick healer and is able to participate in the most important pay per views of the year: Royal Rumble, Wrestlemania, Money in the Bank, etc.

Main Event: The Balor Club vs The Shield & Jason Jordan
Winner: Balor Club

This match was lost due to miscommunication. Jason Jordan is the main culprit. If he had not distracted the ref as long as he did. The ref would've seen the tag and things may not have been so messed up. Balor Club was able to capitalize on the fact that these gentlemen were not a cohesive unit. They worked like they were unsure of how they were supposed to wrestle with each other. It was easy to see who didn't belong or rather didn't fit. Rollins was trying to tag in Roman and he did but Jordan was still arguing with the ref at the time. Which caused him to miss the tag. Reigns argued with Jason until he clotheslined Gallows and Anderson out of the ring. Meanwhile, Rollins is still the legal man attempting to continue to fight. But for all his efforts he was dropkicked into the corner and accidentally knocked Jordan off the ring. That lead to a coup de grace and the win for the Balor Club.

After the match was over Reigns, and Jordan got into an argument. Rollins was still on the ground recovering. And the Miz and the MizBitches slithered in like the snakes they are and took out all 3 men. Hit Roman with a skull-crushing finale then ended with a triple powerbomb. Same shit he did almost 2 months ago when their feud started.

The MIZ Returns to RAW After a 6 Week Hiatus

The Miz made his return. I actually thought this was going to open the show. I would've preferred it. The Miz is a must-have heel. And he does make that IC Championship relevant (oh god that left a nasty taste in my mouth 🤢). But if you give the title a proper heel vs hero/anti-hero storyline they could make it relevant as well.

Anyway, the Miz was welcomed back by Elias with a song, Yawn. The Miz and his MizBitches came out and relished in the immense amount of love he was receiving upon his return from making the Marine 6.  It was sad to see his MizBitches out there with no leader and pandering like some lovesick puppies who've lost their father. It was gross. The MizBitches decided to praise their leader with gifts even attempting to remove their clothes. Fighting for attention or whatever. The Miz shut that down quick. He had a rant bitching about getting his InterContinental title back from Roman Reigns. Claiming he carried the show and RAW needed him. He said he only let Roman hold the title until he returned. Now it was time for him to take his rightful place as the IC Champion.

Ok...Great.

RAW 25

RAW 25 is shaping up to be a MASSIVE SHOW! With appearances from WWE Legends like Eric Bischoff, Shawn Michaels, Ric Flair, Stone Cold Steve Austin, The Undertaker, Kevin Nash, Teddy Long and more. This is just speculation some of these legends will be there others may not be it depends!

Sheamus & Cesaro Bitch About Losing the Titles Once Again & The Miz Makes His Move Regarding the InterContinental Championship

Sheamus and Cesaro came into the GM's to complain once again about losing the titles to the Jordan and Rollins and being given fair treatment. Angle let them whine and complain until he let them know that the titles will be defended against them at the Royal Rumble. Just before they leave the GM's office they asked for a match against an opponent tonight. They were ready, Angle promised them a match and he would find them an opponent.

Then The Miz walks in and demands a rematch for his IC championship. But he doesn't want it at any time. It wants a rematch at RAW 25! Kurt Angle obliged praising the Miz for coming with a great idea.

Alexa Bliss Plots to Keep Her Title & Asuka Gets Attacked By Nia Jax

Alexa Bliss in fear of losing her title decides to stir up some drama in the women's division. Asuka is the biggest threat to her title besides Nia Jax. So given the fact that Nia is her best friend story wise and in real life, Alexa needs her help. She's exploiting her friendship for her personal gain. Take out Asuka via Nia or at least soften her up so that she can retain and never have to wrestle her again.

She went into the women's locker room and told Asuka that she came to give her a warning. She said it wasn't her she had to worry about that she needed to be more concerned about her best friend Nia.

In a segment, later on in the show, Alexa finds Nia and lies about Asuka allegedly saying something about her. Nia calls her on her bluff knowing that Asuka doesn't speak the best English. Leaving Bliss to wonder if Nia will take out Asuka for her or not.

This is all new low from the so-called Goddess. I mean resorting to name calling and rumors to retain a title? What are you 16? Just because your 4 ft tall doesn't mean you should act like a child. If you are as dominant as you claim to be then taking on one of the most dominant women in the WWE  should be NO PROBLEM! At this rate, my tolerance for Alexa Bliss as champion has run its course. Hey, WWE Creative its time to make some changes. I need rivalries, tag titles, and viable title bouts. Make the women's division worthwhile or I'm checking out ✌.

Asuka was supposed to have a match but she was attacked by Nia during her entrance. I'm Alexa was pleased that her "best friend" helped her out. Right... So this attack lead to a match being made by the GM against Nia Jax this coming Monday. Asuka has beaten Nia before on NXT. Either she will take a beating and win or Alexa will come out and cause a DQ putting Asuka on the mat.

Brock's Weekly Non-Speaking Segment

Our resident MUTE champ came out once again. To assert his FAKE dominance and grace the pandering WWE fans with his SO-CALLED reigning defending presence. Chile Please!

via GIPHY

Paul Heyman came out and gave another speech bitching about Brock not getting a fair shake at keeping his championship. He claimed that they are constantly throwing obstacles in Brocks way and yet he overcomes them with ease. Boasting that will be the outcome at the Royal Rumble and wondering what they will try to throw at him next. Drops the mic and leaves.

But not before getting attacked by Kane. This lead to a fight and another ambush attack by Braun Strowman. It went so far that Braun took out both men and attempted to crush them under a scaffold!

Brock shows up every 2-3 weeks to show everyone he's still the champ. He is the most overrated wrestler in the WWE to date. I have never seen a wrestler be a part-timer and claim to be dominant. I'm done. This year he doesn't need to be champion or chasing the championship. I don't want to see him at Wrestlemania next year nor the Royal Rumble or any other pay per view. I want him gone!

Overall

The show was entertaining. I enjoyed watching it. But I have some things to say:

Let's Start with the Miz and MizBitches

I can give credit where credit is due. Miz you're a good heel. But you're limited. All you do is steal other peoples moves to irritate them and talk massive shit. I rarely see you back it up with great in-ring performance. When I think of great matches none of your matches are at the top of the list. So, in reality, your just a glorified mouthpiece and honestly that's not gonna cut it for me.

I'll explain further. Think about Samoa Joe. He is a heel that most guys should aspire to be if they're going that route. Samoa Joe talks a lot of shit but he backs it up in the ring. Yea he cheats and uses mind games, but he still has the ability to put on amazing matches and win them on his own. He is an all-around wrestler. The perfect example of a great heel or a good anti-hero.

To put it frankly, attacking Roman Reigns from behind with your two dick riders is not impressive. It's repetitive and boring.

Roman Reigns, Seth Rollins, & Jason Jordan

Jordan is annoying at this point. He looks as if he doesn't belong (I get it that's what we're going for, but hear me out). Jordan is a fish outta water in this Shield group. Look I like Jason Jordan but the way they've written him on RAW isn't helping people like him more. In fact, it's doing just the opposite. Jason is a great in ring performer but he is in desperate need of a character overhaul. It needs to be done RIGHT NOW. I am tired of this bullshit character. The moment he grabs the mic and says anything you just cringe. It's always corny and bogus. I just mute the tv cause I don't want to hear what he has to say. I'm keeping it all the way 100.

Honestly, this whole Shield reunion has been plagued by illness and injuries. It's time to end it. Let them go back to doing their own thing. The Shield is dead...end of story.

Alexa, Asuka, & Nia

Asuka is worthy of a viable opponent. Nia is that opponent. But I don't like how its being played out. They are using Nia like she's a minion of Alexa's doing her bidding. Why? Nia is more than just a sidekick. She is prime time! Nia should've been champion last year. And she should've been Asuka's first title rivalry. This rivalry could've been epic. But instead, they stayed with boring ass Bliss. I can't with her. Nothing against her personally but she's boring. I just want something different.

Woken Matt and Bray Wyatt

Chile, this is just plain stupid. It totally misses the mark. Woken Matt vs Bray Wyatt is supposed to be a breath of fresh air. But its stale and boring. Bray should've attacked Matt Monday. Not stood there and laughed with him like some crazy idiot. It appeared as if they had no idea what to do and laughing was the only solution. Make this rivalry worthwhile or end it and kill Woken Matt if you don't know how to use him.

Well, thats all for now. See Ya Next Week Folks...

FIRST MATCH JANUARY 16TH @ 10PM

Balor & Banks vs Nakamura & Natalya

WINNER PREDICTION: SASHA BANKS & FINN BALOR

Source: WWE & Cagedsideseats

It's being reported that Paige will have to hang up her boots due to injury. She has injured again during December 28th show. At first, the injury was accessed as a sting but after further evaluation, it's been confirmed that it's much more. Paige has now been deactivated as an in-ring performer. Last Monday she did not perform with her group members in the match. She did escort them out there but she did not participate. She also has to relinquish her spot the first ever Women's Royal Rumble.

I feel so bad for Paige. Being gone for almost a year and then only having a few months before your forced to retire again due to injury and add that she's only 25 years old! Paige is one of my favorite Female Superstars. She's great on the mic, awesome in the ring, and whether she's a heel, face, or anti-hero she's a captivating character. She was a STAUNCH contrast to the Divas like the Bella's, Eve Torres, and their predecessors. I loved that about her and Aj Lee.

I hope that Paige gets a slot in the Hall of Fame. She had the women's NXT championship, she was Divas champion several times, Paige was and still is AWESOME!

Good Luck Paige! I hope you stay with the company and finish what you started by helping to shape the new up and coming Female Superstars.

I was thoroughly entertained by SmackDown Live today! I am so excited typing this you have no idea! So let's get into it!

Aj Styles kicked off the show tonight with one question: Is Kevin Owens going to be allowed at ringside for his match with Sami Zayn? Daniel Bryan came out and so did Shane McMahon. Shane did come and apologize to Aj Styles for interfering and costing him his match last week. It's clear the Commissioner and GM are not on the same page. It turned into a pissing match between them. And instead of coming to a resolution they decided to ALL be present during Aj Styles match with Sami Zayn. Brilliant idea, nothing can go wrong with that.

via GIPHY

Before I can continue I have to tell I thoroughly enjoyed SDLive it was entertaining and all the matches were solid! I was surprised and happy at the same time.

MATCHES

First Match of the Night: The Usos vs Gable & Benjamin
Winner: The Usos after a Restart

This was my FAVORITE MATCH of the night! I absolutely loved it! First off I love The Usos. Whether heel, hero, or anti-hero they put on an amazing show no matter what. They are one of the best performers in the WWE HANDS DOWN!

Now having said that this match was captivating from start to finish. Chad & Shelton were also impressive and are viable contenders for the championships. The match was short and quick in the beginning. Not something I expected from the Usos. They had me screaming at the tv, damn near scared my husband to death! LMAO. Toward the end, there was a double tag. At the time Jimmy and Chad were the legal men in the ring. Once the double tag was hit it was acknowledged that Shelton and Jey were the LEGAL men in the match. Which made it odd to watch Jimmy get pinned by Chad Gable when neither of them was legal. The ref counted 1, 2, 3 and gave the challengers the belts. Watching them walk away on a bullshit technicality like that pissed me off. But another ref came down and told the ref that his ruling was wrong. After consideration and 3 instant replays, it was confirmed that the ref made a mistake and he restarted the match.

Jimmy and Jey fought hard and held on their titles in the end! I loved it. It had controversy, fast-paced action, it was just an AWESOME AWESOME MATCH!

The Bludgeon Bros vs Breezango
Winner: Match Never Began

I was not looking forward to this match at all. It never even began. Breezango got attacked by Harper and Rowan before the ref could start the match. The Ascension came down to help but didn't get any further than the apron. They were quickly disposed of. Though the match was unnecessary and definitely not needed it did not take away from the overall show. It just was...sigh let's move on.

via GIPHY

I feel like the Ascension is about to disappear from the roster. They will go on to another indy brand like ROH, NJPW, or Impact and dominate. I think they're a viable tag team that deserves a proper shot in the division. Given the fact that from what I hear they had a strong run as the NXT tag champs (I've never watched NXT) they were not given a fair shake on the main roster. Hopefully, soon things will change for them if not, hey ROH or NJPW or Impact here's another viable pickup that WWE is wasting.

The United States Championship Tournament: Aiden English vs Xavier Woods
Winner: Xavier Woods Advances

Xavier went after Aiden last week with this hilarious campaign video about his days in NXT and how he and his old partner captured the NXT tag team championships.

Well, today the New Day was celebrating the New Year with Xavier giving him a 2018 pancake celebration. But it was foiled by Rusev and Aiden.

Taking it to the ring. I actually enjoyed this match too. It went back and forth and was touch and go for both men as they tried to capture a win to get one step closer to the United States Championship Belt.
And as much as Aiden English irritates me he's a good wrestler and can perform effectively when in the ring with the right wrestler. Xavier put on a decent show as well. When a challenge is presented I realize that Xavier will rise to the occasion. He's more than just a goofball mouthpiece. He is a great competitor and its a joy to watch him. Xavier picked up the win.

Riott Squad vs The Welcome Committee
Winner: Riott Squad

This match was heels vs heels (both heels I don't care for) so I wasn't invested in who won or who lost. It was still a good match though. Both teams worked together well in the ring and put on a decent match. But ultimately it was Little Liv's interference in the match knocking Tamina off the top rope that got the Riott Squad a big W!

Liv Morgan is boring to me she reminds of Alexa Bliss but less in-ring skills, less athleticism, and no mic skills. Sarah Logan reminds me of that big girl on the playground who was shy but everybody thought she was mean. She just isn't giving me anything but I'm a good ole country girl and I'm trying to be mean and strong. I like Ruby Riott but I want to see what she's capable of on her own.

Becky Lynch returned to exact her revenge after her "injury" hiatus along with Naomi and Charlotte. That was satisfying AF! I LOVED EVERY MINUTE OF IT!

Main Event: Aj Styles vs Sami Zayn
Winner: Sami Zayn

After everyone got around the ring: Kevin, Shane, and Daniel. The match began. It was fine in the beginning. Aj Styles attacked Sami Zayn with a vengeance. It was interesting and slightly satisfying until the end. Aj Styles was able to get Sami in the calf crusher. He broke free and tried to recover. They got to a point where they were trading punches back and forth. Sami got hit with a Pele Kick and to keep from getting hit the ref dove out of the ring. Kevin thinking the ref injured himself kept the ref out of the ring by "checking on him". Seemingly blocking him from getting inside the ring. During that time just like last week Sami Zayn was pinned 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 76! Lol, he was pinned dammit! Of course, Shane got involved and pushed Kevin. Shane told the ref to boot Kevin from ringside. But since Shane got involved Daniel told Shane he needed to leave too ON THE MICROPHONE! This little distraction gave Zayn leverage which lead to a helluva kick and the win.

Aj Styles was livid! And rightfully so this match was good until all the fuckery! It was just an absolute mess!

Aj grabbed the mic and told both the GM and Commissioner to stop acting like kids. He said he came out there to put on a good show for the people not be a pawn in everyone's game. He sarcastically said I might as well take on Sami Zayn and Kevin Owens in a handicap match. I'm thinking ok next week he'll be in a handicap match against both men, cool. Right? Well, bruh if you thought that like I did then you would be wrong just like me. Daniel gets on the mic and goes: "What a great idea! At the Royal Rumble, it will Sami Zayn vs Kevin Owens vs Aj Styles in a handicap match for the WWE Championship!"

IF THE LOOK ON YOUR FACE WAS SOMETHING LIKE THIS GIF:

via GIPHY

Then you and I were on the same page. The crowd was happy and cheering because well its Daniel Bryan making the announcement. He can say lick my balls and they'll cheer. But I, Shane, and Aj Styles were puzzled and the only thing I could come up with to say in response to this trash was THIS IS SOME BULLSHIT!

In Other News

Mojo Rawley vs Zack Ryder didn't happen tonight for some dumb ass reason. I would've rather seen that match then the effing Bludgeon Bros ridiculous schtick with the Tango Boys and their laughing stock sidekick Descension.

Anyway, Mojo had a little message for Zack. He said he was going to finish what he started, bypass Ryder and go on to win the United States Championship. Then he mocked him. #Woowoowoo #YouKnowIt

Overall

Listen I LOVED Smackdown Live! The first match with The Usos and Gable & Benjamin was pure wrestling gold. But then again pretty much anything the Usos are in is going to be worth watching. But this ending to the show was some bullshit!

A handicap match, REALLY? A triple threat I can kind of get with but handicap? Daniel Bryan, I don't know what kind of game is going on here but I don't see this working out in anyone's favor. Mark my words: Kevin Owens will be champion but not in a deserving way. I want Sami Zayn to hold a title without Kevin Owens. And I want Sami Zayn to build himself up without Kevin Owens. If you're going to push Kevin Owens then let him have a major title run without a "buddy".

Moving on to Shane and Daniel. I'm tired of this sneak diss bullshit. I'm sick of it. Say what you mean and mean what you say. Stephanie may have ruled with fear and tactics but you know exactly what she means when she speaks. Daniel and Shane have a way of speaking to each other that is so passive aggressive. It's annoying, just be real! Say you don't like the decision and be done with it. And as a commissioner, if you don't like it override that shit!

And I can tell you this: If it didn't look like collusion before it damn sure looks like it now! Putting these two goons in a match for a potential championship LOOKS BAD. And add the fact that's it's a handicap match and well it just looks bad. And I wouldn't be surprised if it comes back to bite Daniel in the ass. So go head WWE Universe YES IT UP YEP IT UP! Cause this YES YEP train is starting to fly off the rails. Look for the BS! If the Commissioner doesn't cause no more trouble and become the ultimate heel. Then trust Daniel Bryan has already gotten there and will show his true colors. BELIEVE ME.

Well, Folks, I had a good time writing this one. Until next time...

wwe.com

What is the Mixed Match Challenge? Well here's what the WWE's Mixed Match Challenge Facebook Page says it is:
A new in-ring competition show featuring 24 of the most athletic and charismatic male and female Superstars from the brands of Raw and SmackDown. This show, entitled WWE Mixed Match Challenge, will feature a mixed tag team match every week with one team from Raw and one team from SmackDown LIVE competing over 12 weeks to establish a winner. Each showdown in the competition will follow traditional Mixed Tag Team Match rules: When tagged, male Superstars face off with the opposing team’s male competitor and female Superstars battle fellow female competitors. This interactive and innovative Facebook experience will take viewers both in the ring and behind-the-scenes every day of the week until elimination, offering an in-depth look at all the competitors, and more.
The WWE Universe will get to vote on the final male superstar for RAW and SDLive. They will also vote on matchups and match stipulations. The winner will get $100,000 for a charity of their choice and brand supremacy!

Here are the Superstars announced that are available for the WWE MMC:

Raw's Superstars

Braun Strowman
Finn Bálor
The Miz
Apollo Crews (Enzo Amore had to be replaced due to an illness believed to be the flu)
Goldust
Open to Vote: Samoa Joe, Jason Jordan or Elias

Alexa Bliss
Sasha Banks
Nia Jax
Alicia Fox
Bayley
Asuka

SDLive's Superstars

Shinsuke Nakamura
Rusev
Sami Zayn
Jimmy Uso
Bobby Roode
Open to Vote: a member of The New Day

Natalya
Charlotte Flair
Becky Lynch
Naomi
Lana
Carmella

Now, these superstars will team up and compete in a weekly show. It will follow traditional mixed tag rules: men wrestle men, women wrestle women.

Originally when this was announced a few weeks ago they said that this would be interactive and we meaning the WWE universe would have a say in the tag teams but...that was not true. I was thinking we could vote for the teams via the WWE app or something but they never set it up or maybe I was hearing things. Either way, if this is being advertised as an interactive experience for the fans than I believe we should've picked the tag teams.

Correction: There are certain aspects of this challenge that the WWE Universe can vote on. The final team pairings, match stipulations, and more.

But the GM's paired the teams and here are some of the pairings for now:

Sasha Banks & Finn Balor

WWE.com

Honestly, I LOVE this pairing. Sasha and Finn are workhorses. They perform beautifully in the ring and I can just about imagine what they can do together as a team. This is going to be EPIC!

Nia Jax & Apollo Crews

WWE.com

I'm under the impression that because of this "romance" with Enzo Amore that originally he was supposed to be her partner. Despite her campaigning for Braun Strowman to be her partner which would've been absolutely DOMINATING! BTW KURT ANGLE! WHAT WERE YOU THINKING? LIKE DID YOU EVEN CONSIDER THE EPIC DOMINATION YOU WOULD'VE GOT OUT OF THIS PAIRING? HELLO, THAT WAS PRIME TELEVISION AND DAMN NEAR A GUARANTEE WIN! THOSE TWO ON THE SAME DAMN TEAM, COME ON SON! You should've read her twitter when it was announced. She went OFF. Then Titus Worldwide got thrown in and Nia was not amused! Anyway, this is... Listen I'm gonna be honest. I'm not here for it. I don't care about this team and I hate the fact that Nia got thrown with Apollo. No shade to Apollo but he's boring and unless he's gonna be high flying and REALLY showing off I'm good!

Lana & Rusev

WWE.com

They are married Lana has some work to do in the ring and I expect they will work each other seamlessly. Hopefully, Lana will improve and make things happen. We shall see...

Braun Strowman & Alexa Bliss

WWE.com

Honestly, I was absolutely shocked that this pairing happened I was expecting Alexa to be teamed with The Miz. But given the fact that the only people on the list worthy of a pairing are Finn, The Miz, and Braun it kind of made sense (really it could've gone either way but I would've preferred seeing her with the Miz). She also could've made a great partner for Samoa Joe if the WWE Universe chooses him for the Mixed Match Challenge. Goldust and Apollo Crews just don't do it. Anywho with Braun running the ship, I can see them being a dominating team.

Noami & Jimmy Uso

WWE.com

Another husband and wife team I love and have been waiting to see them in action with each other. Noami and Jimmy are a wrestling fans dream. They are beyond skilled on the mic, they have some serious swag and well they can outperform and outwork any team on this roster. I would love to see Sasha and Finn vs Noami and Jimmy OMG that would be epic!

Bobby Roode & Charlotte Flair

WWE.com

I actually loved this pairing. Anybody with a pair of eyes can see Bobby Roode is definitely channeling Ric Flair and a little Triple H with his persona. And Charlotte Flair can be even more vicious and destructive than her father was in his heyday. She definitely came by it honestly. I love Bobby Roode he's so charismatic and rugged but polished at the same time? They are both 2 of my favorite wrestlers of the current era. I think pairing these two together with just the costumes period would make this...GLORIOUS! I couldn't help myself.

Ooo I would love to see Charlotte and Bobby Roode vs Sasha and Finn Balor
Oh, old rivalries and heavy DRAMA! OH YES BOOK IT WWE DO IT DO IT DO IT!

NEW TEAMS HAVE BEEN ADDED!

Elias and Bayley

Asuka and The Miz

Honestly, I did not think about these pairing up but I ain't mad at it. We shall see how this works out!

Alicia Fox and Goldust

I told you! Boom!

Becky Lynch & Sami Zayn

Natalya & Shinsuke Nakamura

FINAL TEAM: Carmella & Big E of New Day

As for the rest of the roster:

RAW still has:

Bayley
Open to Vote: Samoa Joe, Jason Jordan, and Elias

SDLive still has

Shinsuke Nakamura
Sami Zayn
Open to Vote: a member of The New Day
Carmella
Natalya
Becky Lynch

Now with the final folks on this roster here are my prediction pairings:

Bayley & The Miz

Despite Bayley hugging folks all the time, I think spending some time with the Miz will give her some insight. He's a vet and you have to admit he's an amazing WWE Superstar. This will be good for Bayley.

Asuka & Samoa Joe or Elias

When I say these two pairings would DEFINITELY be dangerous and dominating. Elias is a quiet monster and Samoa Joe he's in your face and brash! I think putting Asuka with either of these guys is a definite problem for the SDLive crew!

Alicia Foxx & Goldust

No disrespect to Alicia or Goldust but Crazy and Strange work. I think they would work well together and maybe Alicia can expand her wrestling arsenal. No shade, I'm just saying.

Shinsuke Nakamura & Becky Lynch

I am living for this team. At first, I thought about Sami Zayn. They seem like two sides of the coin but I think Becky would work better with Shinsuke. He's amazing in the ring and I think they will work well together. Strong style and the Lasskicker I love it!

Natalya & Sami Zayn or Kofi Kingston

Listen when you've got wrestling royalty in the ring you pair them with someone who can definitely match their in-ring capabilities. Sami and Natalya are going to be great together. If no to Sami than Kofi of New Day will work. Nattie is mat wrestler, Kofi is high flying with both them on opposite sides of the coin they have a chance at competing on every level.

Carmella and Kofi Kingston or Big E

Although Carmella is limited she is athletic and acrobatic (she reminds me a lot of Mortal Kombat's Sonya Blade). She needs a partner to pick up where she can't. Big E brings the power needed to provide sufficient work in the ring. Kofi is a combination of a high flyer and basic wrestler. He can compliment and take over when its time. He's one of those guys who can be put in a situation where it looks dire but shines through despite obstacle. Don't believe me go watch some old Royal Rumble matches and you'll see what I mean.

Those are my predictions for the Mixed Match Challenge what are yours?
Who do you want to see teaming together? What do you think the match stipulations will be?
