IT'S TIME FOR THE RESULTS

John Cena vs Triple H
Winner: John Cena

The match was not bad. They had some seriously close calls in this match. They were barely making the counts. The final bout took 2 AAs for John Cena. 25-minute match wasn't half bad.

John Cena spoke and thanked the Saudi Arabian Fans for their hospitality and allowing him to compete in one of the biggest and historic events the WWE has ever had.

*Cruiserweight Championship: Cedric Alexander (c) vs Kalisto
Winner: Cedric Alexander

Kalisto started off with some serious speed and high flying work. But Cedric came back hard with his own high flying offense. He hit Kalisto with a devastating dropkick. Cedric began to put in work by grounding Kalisto. A great strategy. Forcing him to the matt was the best move for Cedric to best the masked Lucha.

Later Kalisto hits a beautiful seated Springboard Spanish Fly off the top rope. It was awesome! But not enough to beat the champ! Kalisto then tried for a Selena del Sol (after a battle of counters between the competitors) but Cedric countered with the Lumbar Check! This match was great! Definitely one of my faves.

RAW Tag Team Championship: Matt Hardy & Bray Wyatt vs The Bar (Sheamus & Cesaro)
Winner: Matt Hardy & Bray Wyatt (New Champions)

Well, this match was entertaining. But it was clear. Wyatt and Hardy were going to win. However, they work well with each other. The match was good. The Bar competed nicely but it just wasn't enough to best the Woken Entities (Light & Dark), Matt & Bray.

United States Championship: Jinder Mahal vs Jeff Hardy (c)
Winner: Jeff Hardy

Jeff had the upper hand at the beginning of the match. But of course, Jinder used his minion to cause the distraction allowing him to take over the match. The turn around came when the minion interfered again and Jinder attempted to capitalize with the Khallas. Jeff countered and Jinder attempted to use his jeans to aide in a roll up but Jeff kicked out. This allowed Jeff to quickly hit a Swanton bomb and retain.

SDLive Tag Team Championship: Bludgeon Bros (c) vs The Usos
Winner: Bludgeon Bros

Despite my unwavering love for the Usos, they couldn't best the Bludgeon Bros. With that said it was an ok match. Not great just eh

InterContinental Championship: Seth Rollins (c) vs The Miz vs Samoa Joe vs Finn Balor
Stipulation: Ladder Match
Winner: Seth Rollins

Rollins kicked off this match with high energy taking out everyone in his path. Shortly after Seth's quick takeover, the match slowed down and each competitor began to shine. This match was pure awesomeness.

Now in the final moments of this match. Balor was on the ladder. He had this match won. All he had to do was climb up and take the belt. But Rollins came in jumped from the top rope on to the ladder and snatched the belt down before Finn could even get his self together to finish the climb on the ladder. Rollins straight ganked the belt from him. OMG, one of my favorite matches of the night!

WWE Championship: Aj Styles (c) vs Shinsuke Nakamura Winner: Double Countout

Aj Styles and Nakamura went to battle. But it got emotional. Aj and Nakamura keep fighting outside the ring.

They were both counted out and Aj went on the attack. Taking out Nakamura simultaneously. This isn't over, a rematch is set at BackLash. I suspect Nakamura will pick up the belt there.

WWE Universal Championship: Brock Lesnar (c) vs Roman Reigns
Winner: Brock Lesnar

I refuse to explain this because it was some bullshit. Brock Lesnar's feet never hit the got damn floor. Rules are both feet have to hit the floor. They never did until he rolled off the steel cage wall after Roman. Roman won that damn match. They gave it to fucking Brock Lesnar and bitch I am fit to be TIRED! UBER PISSED!

  50. Chris Jericho

The 50 man Royal Rumble was STACKED! Daniel Bryan lasted the longest and was beat up the most. His chest looked like hamburger meat. He was beaten up everywhere chest, arms legs, etc.

But Braun ultimately ended up winning the match. He was awarded a beautiful green belt and a humungous trophy.

It was fun to watch and the eliminations were fast and quick. I loved the rumble. The absolute best part of this rumble was watching Titus slide under the ring after tripping coming down the ramp. I freaking lost it and so did Graves. Hands down best part of the night.
via GIPHY

Honest opinion of the Rumble I liked it. The Rumble was fun and interesting. Although it was drawn out it started at 12 and didn't end until 5. The matches were good and it was fun to watch so all in all I'd say the WWE put on a great show. But that ending with Brock and Roman TRASH TRASH TRASH TRASH! ALL DAY LONG!

But I hope they make this a tradition. And hold off the superstar trade until after the #WWEGRR that way its not SO obvious when watching the matches. Because it was easy to telegraph who was going to win. Just to make life easier wait until after the Greatest Royal Rumble to shake things up.

Well until next time folks...

LAST WEEK ON MONDAY NIGHT RAW

Kurt Kicked off the Show with the First Aspect of the Superstar Shakeup

Kurt announced the superstar shakeup but was interrupted before he could finish. Interrupted by the first pick of the shakeup...Jinder Mahal. An underwhelming pick for the superstar shakeup but of course he came out in true villain fashion.
Making demands and bitching. He claims he wants the same treatment Brock Lesnar has received.

Angle made it clear that attitudes like this won't fly on Monday Night Raw. He then gave Mahal his first match on RAW as the US Champ. Jeff Hardy vs Jinder Mahal. Jinder ended up losing making Jeff Hardy the new US Champion. All it took was a Twist of Fate and a Swanton Bomb for Jeff to become a grand slam champion.

Sasha and Bayley almost had a Moment Until...

Started out to be a good match between the two new rivals. Sasha had the Bank Statement locked in and Bayley either would have eventually passed out or tapped. But the weak ass Riott Squad was drafted to RAW and decided to do their typical song and dance. Attack in a pack mentality and assert their pseudo dominance. They went after both Sasha and Bayley taking them out. Which announced their switch to RAW. As annoying as they were on SDLive I can just about imagine what they'll be like on RAW.

AOP has their Debut Match

For the second time, it was AOP vs Rhyno & Slater. This time there was a little bit fight in Rhyno and Slater but it still wasn't enough to defeat AOP. They are the next dominate group to look out for.

Semi-Finals of the Tag Team Eliminator: The Revival vs Woken Matt & Bray Wyatt
Stipulation: The Winner will face The Bar at the Greatest Royal Rumble for RAW Tag Team Championship

Well, The Revival put on a good match. They fought hard against Matt and Bray but ultimately team woken bested the tag team. Honestly I...just let's just say its a decent match.

Ember Moon has her RAW debut vs Mickie James

Ember Moon had her debut match on RAW in a match against Mickie James. The newly crowned RAW women's champ was there and the former champ was supposed to be there but she declined. Claiming Nia was a bully and she didn't want to risk her opportunity to face the champ again at Backlash. So she stayed in the back where she was "safe". Ember put on an amazing performance. I really like her heel or face. I like her she's just awesome and her finisher is in my top 5 hands down an awesome finisher! Ember Moon defeated Mickie James.

Natalya makes her RAW debut and Faces Mandy Rose.

Natalya defeated Mandy Rose and got attacked. And then Ronda Rousey to aid the former champ.

The Miz announced the newest addition to RAW Kevin Owens and Sami Zayn

The Miz had a segment where he was set to announce another new RAW "superstar". And it was Kevin and Sami. The GM came out oblivious to the fact that the Commissioner had signed them. And was embarrassed because the Miz and Kevin and Sami were notified but not him. But Kurt had a trick up his sleeve. The Miz had no idea that he was traded for another SDLive superstar and wouldn't know until the end of the night who they traded for. The Miz and the Miz alone was going to the RAW brand. The MizTourage Axel and Dallas are staying on RAW. It was his final match on the RAW brand. He was headed back to SDLive to set up a potential battle and I for one am here for it bish. The match was set up Ten Man Tag Team Match: Kevin Owens Sami Zayn The Miz & MizTourage vs Braun Strowman Bobby Lashley Finn Balor Seth Rollins & Bobby Roode. A match the Miz and his team ultimately lost.

Samoa Joe & Roman Reigns have another Encounter

Once again Roman had a single segment to talk. Then, Samoa Joe, This fool Samoa Joe put together a powerpoint presentation and everything! LMAO, I can't.

RAW Acquired Several Superstars in the Shakeup

Kevin Owens
Sami Zayn
Breezango (Fashion Police)
Riott Squad
Natalya
Dolph Ziggler
Drew McIntyre (NXT)
Baron Corbin
Bobby Roode
AOP (NXT)
Ember Moon (NXT)
Bobby Lashley
Ronda Rousey
No Way Jose (NXT)

Greatest Royal Rumble

Monday, April 16, 2018

After a proposal at WrestleMania 33 and 6 years together, John and Nikki have decided to call off the engagement and go their separate ways. John Cena and Nikki have sent a joint statement to US Weekly:

"While this decision was a difficult one, we continue to have a great deal of love and respect for one another," they said in a statement to Us Weekly's Emily Longeretta. "We ask that you respect our privacy during this time in our lives."

Can't say I was that invested in their relationship. But from what I saw on red carpets and magazines they seem happy with each other. So I'm sorry they are splitting. But I hope they find the happiness they are looking for.

Source: BleacherReport & USWeekly

Stephanie McMahon kicks off the show and the crowd is just unapologetically SAVAGE! They showed her no mercy. I did feel a little bit bad for old Pee Pee Pants but the crowd had no sympathy none whatsoever! I mean she came out there limping and her arm in a brace. But she still was bragging about how Ronda turned out a great performance because of her. She felt like because she did such job pushing her to her limit, Ronda then in turn put on an amazing show and it was all because of Pee Pee Pants McMahon.

Steph called out Ronda Rousey to congratulate her and sing her praises. Ronda came down to an amazing reception and of course, Stephanie began to praise her as the newest ass kicking prize of the WWE. She congratulated her and admitted the truth. The Billion Dollar Princess lost fair and square. And then she began the same selling pitch as before, with WWE behind her she could become the next face of the company.

Ronda's reaction was to smile and appear to be receptive to her advances. Stephanie asked to hug it out. She did and then she put her in the armbar. Lol, she took that woman's brace off and rolled her arm back. If it wasn't real it looked real. Stephanie was writhing in agony. And then just like that, the segment was over.

Matches

Women's Division: Nia Jax and Ember Moon vs Alexa Bliss and Mickie James
Winner: Nia Jax and Ember Moon

Alexa decided to take a tactic out of most beaten bullies books and turn the blame on Nia Jax. Bat-Mite claimed Nia was the biggest bully and that she always covered for her. She said that no one is Nia's friend and that her attack on Mickie James left her distraught and that's why she lost the title at WrestleMania. She demanded an apology for the vicious attack on poor Mickie. But Nia wasn't budging. She let her rant until she got fed up and straight told her to shut up. She announced that she did have a partner and her name is EMBER MOON! When that woman came out the crowd went bananas. Ember is going to be FIRE! Let's hope they don't water her down too much!

The match was good from start to finish. Both sides performed beautifully but this was about Ember. Ember came ready to put on a show. She made her presence felt!

Tag Team Eliminator Match 1: Winner Faces The Bar at GRR on April 27th
The Revival vs The Good Bros (Gallows and Anderson)
Winner: The Revival

Good match. The Revival picked up the win. One mistake by Anderson he didn't keep up with the tags so he knew who was legal and who wasn't. All in all a decent match between two of the best tag teams they have to offer on RAW right now.

Men's Division: (Former NXT) No Way Jose vs Local Talent John Skylar
Winner: No Way Jose

Well, No Way Jose has the same gimmick of his previous counterparts: Adam Rose, The Godfather, etc. It's okay. Nothing amazing but a solid gimmick. He is extremely high energy and just a ball of fun. When the bell rang though he performed beautifully. I really like his in-ring capability. The fun and games are cool but I'm really curious to see what he's capable of. But only time will tell. This gimmick didn't work well for Adam Rose it lasted for a bit and then the WWE Universe got annoyed. However, we shall see.

Women's Division: Sasha Banks vs Mandy Rose
Winner: Mandy Rose

This match started strange Absolution came out together with their "manager" Paige. Mandy Rose was set to wrestle Sasha Banks who came out alone. As you all know recently Sasha and Bayley have been on the outs. And it's clear they haven't resolved anything. But before the match could begin Bayley came out. Came on the ring apron and went in the ring for her entrance. Then appeared to be in Sasha's corner. This was a MASSIVE mistake. For weeks now Absolution has been capitalizing on the issues of these former best friends. It happened a few weeks ago, it happened last week, and this week as well. Now during the match, Mandy pushed Bayley and Bayley reacted. But instead of hitting Mandy she ended up knocking out Sasha and leaving. Sasha got beat because of Bayley's interference. The building anger and betrayal between these two is going to clash in a match tonight. Hmmm isn't the first part of the superstar shakeup tonight 😏?

Tag Team Division: AOP (Authors of Pain) vs Heath Slater & Rhyno
Winner: AOP

Clearly, Slater and Rhyno have been getting paid well to job aka losing every match they've been in lately. But they did make a valid point. They were the 1st ever SDLive tag team champions and do deserve some level of respect. Some level, lmao. But they made the challenge and got an answer in the form of AOP. A vicious tag team who was coming off the heels of an amazing match at NXT Takeover New Orleans. If you hadn't seen it you definitely need to go watch it. It's absolutely amazing!

AOP decimated Slater and Rhyno. The Authors of Pain were brought to the main roster and they did not disappoint. However, after their win over Rhyno and Slater, they dropped their manager. They literally left him by the ring and celebrated their win on their own. Essentially telling him we no longer need you and will be taking this venture on our own. They said all this without saying a word.

Tag Team Eliminator: Woken Matt & Bray Wyatt vs Titus WorldwideWinner: Woken Matt & Bray Wyatt

Um yeah, this was hilariously a decent match. The best part was when Apollo displays his athleticism. Matt applauded him and so did Bray who was the legal man at the time. They applauded the audience applauded and so did Titus Worldwide. Which allowed the distraction and a straight up ass whooping ensued. Titus Worldwide tried to defend but the Woken era has begun and it went straight through Titus worldwide. Woken Matt and Bray Wyatt advance to the finals.

Tonight it will be Woken Matt & Bray Wyatt vs The Revival to decide who will face The Bar on April 27th at the Greatest Royal Rumble Event.

Men's Division: Kevin Owens vs Sami Zayn (BEST MATCH OF THE NIGHTStipulation: Winner Gets a Contract to be a Raw SuperstarWinner: Double Count Out

For me, this was the best match of the night. As much shit as I give Kevin Owens and Sami Zayn I do love their in-ring work. It was a hard fought match and I enjoyed every minute of it. However, it ended with both men down unable to answer a 10 count. So it was ruled a double count out. Neither man would be getting a contract. But they may change with the superstar shakeup.

I think both men will get a contract on different shows. It's time to split them up and have been become big pieces of opposing brands. Sami has proven he can do it. Villain, Hero or Anti-Hero they need to be on separate show building rivalries and making these shows fun to watch.

Men's Division: Seth Rollins Finn Balor & Jeff Hardy aka Bro. Nero vs The Miz and The MizTourage
Winner: Seth Rollins Finn Balor & Jeff Hardy aka Bro. Nero

Miz was not in a good mood tonight and it showed. But Seth Finn and Jeff were and they were on point tonight. They worked well together. Similar styles similar strengths and for once it didn't clash. They played well off of each other and it showed that with the right people in the ring you can have an amazing performance. The Miz and the MizTourage put up a good fight but they were no match for Seth Finn and Jeff. Rollins team won and ended the match each performing their signature moves: Curb Stomp (my favorite of the set), Coup de Grace, and Swanton Bomb on Axel and Dallas. It was a cool way to close the show.

SUPERSTAR SHAKEUP WAS ANNOUNCED A 2-DAY EVENT! TOMORROW AND TUESDAY

The question is how are they going to "shake things up"? Who's going to SDLive? Whose moving to RAW? We will find out starting on RAW and ending with SDLive!

BRAUN RELINQUISHES THE TAG TEAM TITLES

At WrestleMania 34 as I previously blogged about. Nicholas (Son of a WWE Executive. Hey I found this out on the internet. It never sleeps people are always looking lurking and searching) and Braun had to relinquish the titles because Nick could not defend them. Besides he is 10 and cannot miss school. LMAO.

Well in true Bar fashion. They show up looking for a handout. And when Kurt refuses they get all huffy of course. But he does have a plan. Since they current title holders cant defend and have relinquished the belts there is no one to challenge to regain the belts. So a tag team eliminator tournament was created. With the 4 tag teams competing to compete for a shot at the titles. The winner will be decided tonight and they will go on to face Cesaro and Sheamus aka The Bar at the GRR Event on April 27th.

THE MIZ INTERRUPTS SETH "FREAKING" ROLLINS' GRAND SLAM MOMENT

Well on the heels of WrestleMania 34 Seth Freaking Rollins has declared his return and was extremely hype. He and his shield brethren have all held every single title the men's division can hold in the WWE. They are now all in an elite class called the Grand Slam champions.

Well, Finn Balor interrupted and came out to "congratulate" the new IC Champion. But he made it clear at WM 34 he wasn't pinned the previous title holder was. And he wanted to be the first person to challenge Rollins for that belt.

Interestingly enough Miz had an issue with that. And of course, he went apeshit about the bromance between Balor and Rollins. He had to explain how his family has suffered because of his loss. How his wife and newborn daughter cried. This was the most pathetic I've ever seen Miz. Using your newborn daughter for a storyline is messed up. This led to a banter between the three men and eventually a battle that got Jeff Hardy out there to even the odds a bit. Of course, the cowards backed away. So Angle made a match for later on in the night, a 6 Man Tag Team match.

BAYLEY COSTS SASHA A MATCH

For weeks now these two have been trading blows, pissing each other off, and further drifting apart. As I explained before Bayley cost Sasha this match and now they will square off tonight. I think this will be Sasha's final match on Raw. I think she will be moved in the Superstar shakeup to give the Women's division on Smackdown some more depth.

PAIGE ANNOUNCES HER IN-RING RETIREMENT

Months ago it was reported that Paige suffered another neck injury at a dark show and she was no longer cleared to compete. But the WWE never made an official announcement and neither did Paige. They pretended for months as if Paige diminished her role in Absolution to a Manager. She gave a speech and placed a t-shirt in the ring before heading the to top of the stage to take her final bow.

Paige was essential to the women's division. One of the first NXT brought ups and helped change the game for women in this sport making it more about their skill rather than their bodies and sexuality. I loved Paige as a wrestler and I'm sad that she can no longer compete but there is life outside of the WWE and within it (commentator, Manager, General Manager 😜). She has her whole life ahead of her to explore that role.

Bobby Lashley RETURNS!

Bobby Lashley has signed back with the WWE and has been speculated to make his debut for months now. They waited until after WrestleMania 34 to pit him against Elias whom he decimated. It was light work for Lashley. I'm curious how he will fit on RAW or maybe...they'll move him to Smackdown the shakeup. Who knows where he'll end up?

Kevin Owens & Sami Zayn Show Up on RAW Begging for a Job

Well well well Barney Rubble and Dancing Sami show up on RAW begging for a spot. Of course, the GM had some fun with them. Classic line "I hear TNA is hiring". Real Talk I hear TNA is looking for new tv spots. Very soon TNA will be no more and Vince will have crushed another Wrestling organization unless they pick up Dolph Ziggler. If they do and let him be the face they could turn things around. But that is a long shot. Anyway after explaining to the 2 goons that there was room for only 1 other member. This pitted them against each and other and led to a match that was very good and interesting to watch.

Roman Reigns Speaks on His Match at WrestleMania 34 and Samoa Joe Returns to Respond

Roman made an appearance battered and bruised, sporting a huge knot on his forehead. Roman was not in the best of moods. But he did show up for work which is counterpart Lesnar did not 😒, per the usual. However as Roman began to speak about how disrespected he was once again. Learning of Lesnar's new contract and his impending match in a few weeks with the man that busted him open, only served to piss him off. He claimed he learned of all these changes just as everyone else did on the internet.

Well, his rant only lasted for a few minutes for Samoa Joe came out to the kick the man while he was down. He claimed Roman was full of nothing but empty promises and once Lesnar was through with him he was going to finish the job at BackLash.

Joe made those same empty promises several months back. And he didn't even have a legitimate gripe for his fight. He just wanted to prove he could beat Lesnar and he failed miserably. He got taken to Suplex City and then got injured in a separate match months later. He's been out ever since. So who's the liar really? If your ass can make those same claims and spew a bunch of bullshit that you believe in then why cant Roman do the same? In reality, Roman didn't make excuses for the match he explained how he is being railroaded and forced to face Lesnar again. Joe did his job though poking and prodding a seemingly broken man.

The last time Joe and Reigns met it was a good match. And honestly made for great tv. Joe is a great heel. He provides the perfect amount of wit and in-ring talent. He's a formidable foe for anybody.

OVERALL

It was an interesting show. Great call-ups for NXT and good spots for new rivalries as well as old rivalries to begin. Tonight's show is going to be interesting. I can't wait to see how this shakeup goes. I hope its awesome.

Until Next Time Folks...

Wednesday, April 11, 2018

Well, Wrestlemania did live up to the hype in some spots and in other spots it was 😕. But let's get into it, shall we?

WrestleMania was a LONG ASS SHOW! It lasted well over 7 hours. 7 hours of content that I was too tired to decipher the night of so I waited awhile. Yall know my MO lmao. So now that I'm awake and alert let's get into this!

KICK-OFF Matches

Men's Division: Andre the Giant Battle Royal
Winner: Matt Hardy via Bray Wyatt

I have to say this. I did not expect this match to give anything of substance and I was wrong. It wasn't great and it wasn't incredibly horrible but it was ok. It came down to the two previous winners Baron and Mojo, along with Matt and a someone else I can't remember. The fourth man was quickly dispatched and then the calamity ensued. For weeks after the ultimate deletion people have been speculating that Bray would come back as Sister Abigail to take on Woken Matt again. However, that was not the case. Bray was himself but he didn't attack Matt he helped him WIN! Bray never entered the Battle Royal this year (and rightfully so. no shade but he's better than that). So because its a battle royal legally Bray could come in and do whatever he wanted. Which is exactly what happened. He eliminated Mojo and Baron and joined forces with the Woken Family. DELETE DELETE DELETE DELETE!

Cruiserweight Championship: Cedric Alexander vs Mustafa Ali *TOP PICK MATCH #3*
Winner: Cedric Alexander (New Cruiserweight Champion)

This match was awesome. It was full of high flying, kicks, and just pure competition. Mustafa gave it his all but Cedric was just the better man that night. He was awesome and shined like a diamond with that new Cruiserweight Belt on his shoulder! Cedric deserved this and he won it fair and square. I freaking LIVED for this match. It was awesome. Hopefully, this will put some spark back into the 205 Live brand!

Psst from what I hear it HAS, a little bit lmao 😝! Check out 205 Live on WWE Network to peep my little tea drop 🍵🐸

Women's Division: Women's Battle Royal
Winner: Naomi (History Making Win 1st Winner of the 1st EVER Women's Battle Royal at WrestleMania)

My pick did not win. However, I'm glad it was Naomi. Bayley and Sasha were apart of the final 3 but in true get back fashion Bayley gave Sasha the illusion that they were working together only to throw her out of the ring in the end. Completely forgetting or not being aware that Naomi wasn't thrown out she was legally still apart of the match. Either way, Rear-View changed that and well Naomi won.

I don't get Bayley. Your mad at Sasha right and in a sense I get it she was your best friend and she did something you couldn't forgive nor forget. Ok cool. But the first chance you got you were digging at Sasha talking about her title reigns and then you throw her out of the ring in the battle royal in the same way she took you out during the Elimination Chamber. My question is if Sasha was your friend and you had a love for her how come it was so easy to blast her but you couldn't go extreme on Alexa Bliss and you had no love for her at all? #MakeitMakeSense

Main Show Matches

Intercontinental Championship: The Miz (c) vs Seth Rollins vs Finn Balor
Winner: Seth Rollins (c)

I did not expect Seth Rollins to pull through and get this W. But he did. And I have to say all 3 competitors really performed at their highest. I was absolutely floored at how much work the Miz put in and his performance was good. I'm proud to say that these guys really had a solid match. There were twists and turns and honest I did not expect Rollins to win at all. I was deadly sure Miz was going to get another WrestleMania moment and Balor and Rollins would be stuck in limbo once again. I don't know I guess the rumors are true. Miz is going on a hiatus for a while and maybe that will allow that belt to be defended and contested in some awesome matches. I see a Balor vs Rollins series that could EPIC if done right!

Smackdown Live Women's Championship: Charlotte (c) vs Asuka *TOP PICK MATCH #2*
Winner: Charlotte

I WAS SO FREAKING SHOCKED AT THE END OF THIS MATCH! I WAS COMPLETELY WRONG ABOUT THIS MATCH FROM THE BEGINNING AND FOR THAT I OWE CHARLOTTE FLAIR AND THE WWE AN APOLOGY. I was 100% sure that Charlotte would lose this past Sunday at WrestleMania but I was wrong. Charlotte WON! SHE BEAT THE EMPRESS OF TOMORROW AND ENDED A 2 YEAR STREAK! She is truly the Queen of the WWE. Like it or not it's REAL!

Charlotte and Asuka put on an amazing performance last night. From high flying to slaps, to kicks to submission moves both women came to win. But ultimately it was Charlotte who would pull out and pick up the win. Charlotte injured her arm and Asuka went on the attack. She damn near made Charlotte's arm useless. However, Charlotte was able to lock in the Figure 8. She bridged with 1 arm until Asuka tapped. It was amazing!

Asuka even touted the queen and rallied that she was ready for Asuka. It was an amazing match filled with emotion and pure competition. And in the end, the two women respected each other more for it.

United States Championship: Randy Orton (c) vs Bobby Roode vs Jinder Mahal vs Rusev
Winner: Jinder Mahal

I was DEAD ON about this. I knew this was going to happen. This match slowed the show down a bit. It just was no reason to be invested in the rivalry. There were too many players and not enough animosity between them to play it up. It just didn't work and now you have a mediocre champ who will have a mediocre run as US Champ. It'll be the same bull shit he pulled while WWE Champion. I'm the Maharaja and you all hate me because of my blah blah 😒. I don't care just, as usual, I will mute when he's on tv. He just isn't worth the time. And I bet he will keep that belt until they have the Royal Rumble in Saudi Arabia. Say what you want but mark my words.

Mixed Tag Team: Ronda Rousey & Kurt Angle vs Triple H & Stephanie McMahon *TOP MATCH #1*
Winner: Ronda Rousey & Kurt Angle

I have to admit this was a THOUSAND times better than I thought. But I did pick Ronda and Kurt to win so I'm not hating.

Ronda performed beautifully. She sold Stephanie's attacks well, I shocked and proud! She did an amazing job! I loved every minute of this match. It was an awesome match for Ronda's debut. Stephanie played her part well and so did Kurt and Triple H. But let's be honest Ronda was the star of the show and Stephanie looked green. However, it was a decent match and I was so proud of her performance.

Smackdown Live Tag Team Championship: The Bludgeon Bros vs The Usos (c) vs New Day *WORST MATCH #3*
Winner: The Bludgeon Bros

This match was slow boring and really didn't give New Day or The Usos an opportunity to showcase their skills. They are the best aspect of the WWE Tag Team division and to have them be on the grandest stage of them all like some jobbers was just messed up. The Bludgeon brothers did their job. They dismantled the two teams isolated each member and just tore them apart piece by piece. I feel for the Usos because they deserved better than this. The Usos made the Tag Team division viable on Smackdown Live. I think they will end up being sent to RAW. Just my thoughts.

Men's Division: Undertaker vs John Cena
Winner: Undertaker

I've never seen Undertaker manhandle a competitor so much like he did John Cena. John sold that ish! Undertaker looked good. He looks like he put on some good weight and really performed with more fluidity.

I was impressed by a 50+ man. But it was one-sided and just oddly booked. This was painfully obvious that he would be there and honestly, WWE needs to cut the bullshit and keep it G.

Men's Division: Daniel Bryan & Shane McMahon def. Kevin Owens & Sami Zayn
Stipulation: If Zayn & Owens win they get their jobs back, if they lose they remain fired
Winner: Daniel Bryan & Shane McMahon

This match started off messed up. Daniel got attacked before he could even get the ring and so did Shane McMahon. So Shane ended up having to start this match alone. Suffering through diverticulitis Shane tried to push through but he got handled for a while during this match.

Daniel was being carted out in dramatic fashion. But fought through and came in to help Daniel. Of course, it was a long time before Daniel got in but when he did the crowd went absolutely NUTS!

RAW Women's Championship: Nia Jax vs Alexa Bliss (c)
Winner: Nia Jax

I was so happy that Nia won this match she fought took out Mickie James and beat down little Pipsqueak Bliss. I'll give Alexa her props she put up a good fight but in the end, she was no match for the irresistible force. Alexa got laid out via a Samoan drop off of the 2nd rope. It WAS EVERYTHING!

WWE Championship: Shinsuke Nakamura vs Aj Styles (c)
Winner: Aj Styles

This match was good. They both laid it on the line and made it clear they were not going down without a fight. So the match itself was great. It wasn't the match that was interesting. It was when it was over. Shinsuke and Styles exchanged respect for each other. But Shinsuke took it a step further and took a knee to present Aj Styles with his belt.

Aj didn't think anything of it and appreciated the gesture. But while the audience was clapping and cheering Shinsuke low blows Styles and kicks him out of the ring. He then hits Aj with the Kinshasa. Match over Shinsuke has officially turned heel.

RAW Tag Team Championship: The Bar vs Braun Strowman & Nicholas
Winner: Strowman & Nicholas

Um by far this was the most BIZARRE match of the night. Strowman had no partner against the bar. He literally chose a child who was in the 4th Grade to be his partner. No lie Little Nicholas was on the apron and even got in the RING! I just didn't understand what I was watching. I don't get what it was meant to do. I was extremely lost.

However, it was cool that this kid got to have the ultimate WrestleMania moment!

Universal Championship: Brock Lesnar (c) vs Roman Reigns
Winner: Brock Lesnar

This match is of course controversial. I am not happy with this outcome. Brock always comes out looking untouchable.  I'm sick of it. Roman got rocked in more ways than one. Although he worked at it and put up a good fight he still got beat. With the same stale bullshit, Brock has been peddling since 2002. The match was awful and there was no reason to feature another match like WrestleMania 31. I wasn't here for the fuckery.

I don't understand why they continue the same rhetoric over and over. When it's been proven there is a cure for the BEAST just ask Overeem. Then instead of being smart and understanding that Roman isn't the problem, the WWE Universe blames him anyway. As if he's the reason the matches with Lesnar are terrible. But have you noticed that every single match with Lesnar is the same MO? He doesn't deviate. Except for when he can't get his way then he resorts to tactics that are illegal even in UFC. So who's the issue here? I don't get it.

Busting Roman open like that was just unnecessary. And yall can spin it however you want. But the fact is Roman has never been the problem, its Brock Lesnar. Yall ain't gone see that until he goes up against someone yall like. Hmmm like Daniel Bryan or Finn Balor?

And from what I hear the men of the company were not happy. Shane and Vince both allegedly had it out with Lesnar causing a big blowout! Now its Lesnar vs Reigns at the 50 man royal rumble in a steel cage. SMDH

OVERALL

It was a long but good show. I appreciated every match except for those that should've been left off. US Championship, SDLive Tag Team Championship, Universal Championship and John Cena vs Undertaker. These matches weren't the worst but rather they didn't peak my interest. They just aren't interesting enough to keep my attention or talk about.

The rest was great! I loved every moment of it. Next year I'm taking breaks. I was so got damn tired the next day I couldn't imagine being a performer and have to get up the next day and do it again. These guys (except Brock Lesnar cause his ass wasn't there) are true professionals and deserve gratitude and respect for what they do. So from little ole me and my blog, I want to say thank you to everyone in the WWE who made WrestleMania possible. But no not just WrestleMania every single dark show, RAW, SDLive, pay per view, etc. Thank you for showing up and showing out every single time. You provide entertainment for me and my family for years and I appreciate every one of you who put your bodies on the line to give us a few hours of joy a day. Thank you from the bottom of my heart!
